I actually do. My GF doesn't have a TV so when I come over to her place and we DO play Switch (it's always in my backpack with me because I play it when I commute), which doesn't happen too often, we will use tablet mode.

I also have movie nights at a friends place. We are 3 people. When we are still waiting for that one friend we will play some Switch together in tablet mode.


I have also used it at my parent's when I wanted to show my mother the Switch (I've tried 1, 2 Switch with her because this is as casual as it gets).

I've used it once or twice but generally I'm either using it portable or docked under a TV. On a trip to Japan soon with a few friends though, and I don't think any of us are bringing a dock. So probably going to get some tabletop then.

The UI doesn't tell. There is NO menu option for it and I had to google the solution. If the UI doesn't have such an important option one feels like it doesn't exist and pressing this button on the other controller to go to two player is BS.
