Yeah, you have to stay 'in one place' to use it since you need a bipod, but you have to be a dumbass to think its a good idea to stay there the whole game. No. New patch that DICE put out recently has worsened performance for both consoles and PCs. CPU usage has increased. I used to sit comfortably around 130 fps, now it's in the 90s, and others are seeing their frame rates halved. All they've added is more weapons, some copy-pasted from BF1, and one map. Pretty bad for 6 months of waiting.

I just got this game so I can flex my new rig. On PTO this week just so I can play vidya and fuck off. Played this a bunch yesterday and will likely play more today and this week.
Yeah, this game has issues, Battlefield games always do, but I had a blast with 3 and 4, and I recall 4 was a total mess at launch. Once you remove all the women and minorities from your squad the game feels more like WW2. Also, the new Greek map is great!

The new Greek map is very fucking nice. I like it a lot. The women and minorities thing is so immersion breaking though. For all the problems, this game is very immersive, but once I hear some girl screaming in a shrill voice at the top of her lungs as she gets shot down, or hearing a woman's voice marking enemies when I'm inside a tank/aircraft, it totally takes me out.
