Is this good?

Yes

Havn't played it. Feels a bit too hipstery for my taste

It was when it was on the same demo build for like five fucking years without update. As I understand, it's just that but better now so probably.
What does that even mean?

Pretentious and boring

>It's a fun mystery game where you have to figure things out all by yourself.
>The game is non-linear so you can starts exploring anywhere you wants.
>Quantum moon was quite a fucking mad adventure (at least in beta)
>Overall I think its a good game
>I'm fucking mad that they sells out to epic despite of already successfully backed and developed

I played it for an hour. Flew to a planet and found a temple and then fell into some kind of portal, ended up in outer space with my ship on the other side of the solar system. Used my jetpack to get to the nearest planet, which is just covered in water thats horrible to traverse. Haven't played it since.

You fell into a black hole and were expelled from a white hole. That's the way it was when this game was a freely available alpha and beta anyway.

Yes.

It's also scary

Hipster flavor of the month.

The old demo from years ago was pretty comfy.
Spaceships with wood flooring and stoves is a good aesthetic.

Dunno ask me in a year or so

The ship is cool, it's a bit of a shame you don't really get to personalize it or expand on it due to the nature of the game. The repair mechanic is also pretty useless, since most of the time you're just flying down on one planet, two at most before the reset, and it rarely gets banged up anyway because space is empty (not even a couple asteroid fields to keep it lively in autopilot mode)

I was constantly banging it up but that's because I fly like a madman.
Didn't they later remove a bunch of stuff from the alpha because they were afraid it spoiled too much?

I have no idea, never played the alpha.

Downloaded it and couldn't even stsrt playing without crashing. But at least i reinstalled freelancer

It's bretty good

I liked it apart from a couple parts. The controls or physics, one, for flying can be a little annoying. And then the thing you need to do to trigger the ending is a little vague. Otherwise it was pretty good.

Beat it yesterday. Very much enjoyed it.
I thought the overall "plot" if you want to call it that, everything regarding the Ash Twin Project and how it eventually played out, was very clever. The idea that the Nomai failed to make the sun explode and then a bajillion years later when the sun's natural life ends, the project suddenly kicks into action, I thought that was an awesome little twist.
Heard people bitch about the ending but I thought it was neat. It was pretty hard to wrap something like that up and they did a nice job. If nothing else, the final sequence is very memorable.

And in the end, you did save the entirety of existence in a way.

One thing I don't understand:
How was that one dude on the moon alive? Since he's alive, he must have left for the moon before the ghost matter exploded and killed all the other Nomai, right? So that he was out of reach when it happened, right? But that was an eternity ago. How the fuck is he still alive? Why is he still on the moon, are they just expected to stay there for ages? I guess we don't know how long they actually live, but still it seems weird that he's STILL on the moon.
