There is a group that supervises external developers working with the Mario IP nowadays, but that doesn't apply to Nintendo EPD itself, which is why we get Odyssey with of different enemies and locations while the spin-offs are stuck in the 3d world/nsmb era.

He really doesn't though. Goombas are allowed to wear hats and be silly in a core Mario game, meanwhile Koopas with glasses are TOO FAR.

Still good. TTYD too.
Pretty well, the only thing that gets old is some excessive backtracking for sidequests if you decide to do them as soon as they're available instead of waiting until you unlock shortcuts.

Pretty good, I still like Super Mario RPG a bit more (I played Paper Mario first) but PM64 and TTYD are both amazing as well.

It's fun, but i would recommend the Pro Version: More challenges, boss rematches, badges, secret enemies and etc.
