About to play Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for the first time.
Which one is the best / easy character to play ALONE?
jack
CLAPTRAP
based
Willhelm is comfy too
Claptrap, also enjoy inferior borderlands 2
The lesbian
jack. his clones are OP as fuck. heard willhem is pretty good too.
get the Community patch. the loot is fucking shit in pre-sequal and you be struggle hard beyoned normal mode.
reminder that this game has the most annoying NPC ever created
In terms of gameplay, PS is much better than 2.
In order, probably..
>Nisha
>Jack
>Claptrap
>Wilhelm
>Athena
Nisha just seems OP in a lot of ways, Jack's AI is OP too, Claptrap has a ton of stuff to keep going. Wilhelm is basically a mobile Roland, Athena is kinda shit.
Aurelia
only invest in the Cold As Ice skill tree and her ice shards will kill everything for you.
I played it like this and the late game became a literal walking simulator
Will try Jack first them. Thx for the answers!
You missed aurelia the nigress
But since OP wants to play solo and one of her skilltrees is focused on co-op, it's fine
Athena with maelstrom is the most fun for singleplayer
Nisha solo is crazy OP.
athena is great, you have no idea what you're talking about.
>guy hits on her
>she wants you to kill him
>guy is a degenerate physchopath
>kill him not beacuse his a degenerate physchopath
>kill him beacuse he said being queer is wierd.
Athena is excellent.
The pre sequel was shit and had the worst, most obnoxious characters yet.
>That pickle kid that has such an ear tearing manner of speaking
>That bored cat and hotdog
>that faggot that has to raise the flag
>Dr. Nakiyama or whatever just wanting to huff Jack's farts the whole time
The evil claptrap was alright though
the face of someone that thinks this is kino writing
burch was the one who taught me what a cuck and open relationship means. then a saw it all around me.
Nakayama is from BL2 tho
I could swear you kill him cause he has the key to get into Concordia.
Yeah because Borderlands is a series about having the moral highground and killing people because its the right thing to do right?
thats your reason for killing him. she wants him dead beacuse he hit on and being an overall jerk.
People don't need much of a reason on Pandora. I mean for one quest a woman tries to kill you because scooter has been hitting on her aggressively.
If you liked the other borderlands, you're in for a sore disappointment, sequel is boring af.
Claptrap expansion is ok tho.
funny you say that since Lilith and her band of radier think they are the good guys while they nothing better then organized bandits.
or that women who killed a guy beacuse he was being a sexist pig.
RIP David. you were too good for Pandora
Nisha actually just has an aimbot and can put 6 more bullets into the strongest pistol in the game. 6 bullets doesnt sound significant until you realize that it only has one bullet to begin with, then she dual wields, and finally 3 bullets get added to each gun. big fuckin damage.
Or that time tourge makes you kill some game reviewers because they rated his favorite game low because of a shitty stealth level.
are you serious guys? athena is the easiest
I don't know how anyone can recommend doppelganger when he's arguably the most vulnerable character while his skill is cooling down.
dont remember that one. yikes.
you can put points too lessen the cooldown and use it while your fighting for your Life.
i've also started this game with a friend a few days ago. Jack and Clap seemed like the obvious choices.
btw australians ruined this game, none of them were funny, all were cringe. if it weren't for them this game could've potentially have been as good as BL2
>Could not save best girl.
T_T
Reminder that
A) TPS had the same quality overworld design or better than BL2, it's just that they all had the same moon theme, leading to associating them all with each other and exacerbating their individual flaws.
B) The areas filled with enemy spawns and meant for big shootouts are objectively superior to BL2. The Oz Kits not only allowed for more vertical movement, but also more areas with floors stacked on each other, which lent more to horizontal movement, creating better environments for everyone from people with shotguns to snipers 50ft up on a girder/cliff.
>not talking about how she openly stalks Moxxi at every corner
>not talking about how it's proven she literally puts hits on other suitors when possible so Moxxi is "always open"
>not talking about how she tries to manipulate every situation into her "bumping" into Moxxi
>not talking about how the narrative bends over backwards to justify her behavior
>not talking about how Burch said that she was his favorite character in TPS
>not talking about how Burch claimed she was the ideal role model for the game
Granted it's obvious you gave up around Deadlift's part so I can't blame you.
It's one of the few skills in the series you can end early to conserve the cooldown
It should always be up when you need it
Playing in the same environment for the whole length of the game just sucks, you get your moon levels and your spaceship levels and that's it
I played a good chunk of the game a while back but the same environments, the terrible side quests, and the awful aussie 'humor' being constantly in my face just made me unable to continue
The game itself is solid, just the story/characters aren't. Also, gotta love Frost and Lasers.
>It's one of the few skills in the series you can end early to conserve the cooldown
Doesn't everyone except Claptrap have this in Pre-Sequel? Maybe not Nisha but her action skill is so short anyways
Athena is based
no. i just blocked those memories out.
>you can put points too lessen the cooldown
Where?
i really like how the characters you play moment on things thats going on. hope they keep that in three.
