Square enix rushed them out the door before it was even ready, game was simply a cash grab using yoji shinkawa as the honey pot. The game so fundamentally shit and broken that they abandoned it after the first patch which was 1 month later.

Square Enix has basically squandered all my goodwill. If I see there name on a game, my first instinct is to stay away and not get hype. The only game developed or published by them in the last decade that wasn't a dissapointment in some way or another, was Nier: Automata. (Nier was great, but let's be honest, it was still jank as hell)
