Dark souls 1 is the most atmospheric but gets really easy when you realize how slow everything is
Dark souls 2 is the most fun because any build is viable in pvp and pve, and has a comfy theme and atmosphere overall
Dark Souls 3 is the hardest soul game because it has the fastest gameplay similar to bloodborne.

It isn't. The speed makes things much easier, and you barely have to worry about stamina conservation at all. I'd say 2 is the hardest, albeit for the wrong reasons.
The bosses in ds3 are leagues harder than anything in ds2.
Midir, Pontiff, and Gundyr(no parrying) are the hardest bosses in the soul series due to their speed and consecutive attacks.
