How do I get into this game? Love bastion and transistor but haven't been able to get into Pyre

The way I interpreted it, Cloudbank and the rest of the world had become so stagnant, and broken, and empty, that the virtual world that people could create for themselves inside of the Transistor became more real and meaningful than the physical world. So Red gave up a life alone in a dead utopia for a new life with the one she loved.

Alternatively, I've seen theories that Cloudbank was a virtual city the entire time. A digital world made perfect through technology that can change anything at a drop of a hat. So going to "the country" could have been a metaphor for escaping the digital world for the real world, or for "dying" and freeing yourself of the city's influence.

The memories and personality of her love were corrupted, being split partially between herself and the Transistor.
So she stabbed herself to be uploaded into the Transistor and into the Country, grabbing the fragments of him on her way there.

Ded to remake her lover and be with him in an idealized computer world. If she stayed outside of it, both he and her would never be 100% whole again.

I'm usually not a fan of sports-based games, but I enjoyed the setting and characters, and found myself really absorbed with it by the end.
