He even complains sometimes that the overall battle is boring - he's only there for fun and to dick around with Zeus. He's pompous and brazen, like Zeus but louder. His personality is kind of in between Troll and Centaur - all three have a love for the art of battle itself, but show it in different ways.

I've been playing League off and on for 2 years. It's fun but I'm sort of bored of it. Is Dota 2 better? Does it take long to figure out all the heroes? Can I OTP one or two of them?

I've been on a Dota 2 binge for a while now, even got the base Battle Pass. The game is fun and rewarding and outplay potential is so much greater than League.

You passively get a percentage of mana back for damage you deal (32% at max rank) and can activate it for triple the mana gained + slow, basically the old equilibrium. It doesn't seem like that big of a deal on paper but with Kaya you have 100% uptime on Arcane Orb like the old OD with the added bonus of having the splash, which allows you to farm waves and stacks really fast.

I really hope not, he's getting picked in pro games but OD still has some very serious problems, namely his weak early laning phase, being completely shut down by BKB and silence, and several heroes that make his life a living hell (Pugna, Skywrath, Silencer, Night Stalker, Nyx). 7.00 was bad for mostly meme reasons but honestly 7.07 was probably the worst patch in dota history. just the changes to deny XP really fucked things up. at least nowadays the deny XP is largely unfucked so teams who just 3 heroes onto a lane for the purposes of babysitting 1 hero get punished for it, whereas it was encouraged in 7.07

I felt the same way for a long time, but the new spell has grown on me. Not as good as the suicide but it really pisses people off in lane(which is half the reason the play techies).
Honestly, the worst change was the removal of land mine stacking for free instant kills at any point of the game.

Because it is. DotA2 is almost entirely macro-oriented. The fact that every DotA2 apologists immediately brings up Meepo or the illusion heroes is really just the exceptions that prove the rule- there are more DotA heroes that are Drow Ranger-tier then there are ones with the complexity of those harder heroes.

But its not even really a bad thing. I put a couple thousand hours into LoL before I got into DotA last year and both games are fun, just in different ways. I do prefer League's aesthetic overall though.
