I think they stopped doing the show because they were mercilessly mocked for being so shit at games. You can tell from the normal channel that they all take comments on the internet way too seriously.

at least he rightfully kept calling out games that prioritize story over gameplay. Something that most game critics would never do.

Mediocre show, but their The Order 1886 review was god tier and Rich's tangent on 3rd person cinematic shooters was spot on. They would occasionally hit the nail right on the head.

I never cared for their streams. The only ones that were any good were the rare ones where Jay would show up, or the elder god tier ones where Mike would show up. I still wish they would still do reviews though.

No joke, I started watching TNG just because of Mike's constant tangents. I'm at season 5 so far. It's alright.

Rich is a really funny guy when he is with Mike/Jay, and he definitely has a lot of the best moments on Best of the Worst. However, with previously recorded the show really wasn't about being funny, and he had relatively boring Jack to work off of. Not only this, but Rich and Jack are both terrible at video games, not very knowledgeable about them (despite Rich being a video game guy) and routinely embarrassed themselves in live streams. The best part about RLM is that all of their stuff is very carefully edited. The Pre-Rec streams were just terrible (unless Jay or Mike were there).

Jack has gotten WAY better. The early episodes of BotW with him are painful. He would go "Woooow" or "You can't say that!" any time some sort of non PC joke got made. Then one day he got fucking shitfaced on camera and everyone loved it and he has immensely loosened up since then. He still isn't as good as the others, but the fact that he has actually improved and started to roll with it makes him infinitely better than Josh.

RLM is the epitome of pathetic.

They stopped because they felt it was becoming a job instead of a fun secondary hobby, and that they were pretty atrocious at any game that required skill and Rich just can't ignore criticism.
Aidsmoby was fine when he wasn't playing, and if Jay showed up it was a great podcast with a videogame in the background. I got into it late but I wish they'd do some more videogame shit.

Caulkin is a bit awkward but also pretty funny. I give him a 3 for now, but apparently there is another Best of the Worst coming out with him, and so that score might change.

There is also that balding guy with the hipster mustache. I'd also give him a 3. He is decently funny, but didn't seem to talk much.

Warriors was pretty good

I did the same. Season 6 is the peak and 7 starts to lose itself as it goes on, but I don't regret getting into Trek. Always liked it as kid when TNG reruns would show on UPN or something, but I never bothered to sit down and marathon the franchise.

Nioh was unfairly treated at launch cause we were at the height of the souls craze. I personally much prefer the combat over souls since it gives you a lot more options and encourages you to do crazy shit and using consumable items/ ninjutsu regularly is a big part of it unlike souls. Only bad part was the copy pasted enemies after awhile but if they improve that in Nioh 2 that games going to be perfect.

Can't argue there. Wallowing in moral superiority while trying to deal with a new, somewhat ridiculous conflict is the blueprint for S1.

Nioh has much better combat than Dark Souls, but everything else about it is worse. The levels suck and are repeated. It is level based instead of open world. They repeat the same enemies constantly. There isn't any real world PvP or anything.

However, the combat is fucking awesome. I loved even using the simple, regular old Katana. It is pathetic that Sekiro gets so much praise for its combat when it has ONE weapon and it didn't even have half the moves that Nioh the Katana from Nioh does, and Nioh has like 7 fully fleshed out weapons.

Yeah the combat is great, even if most people remember it for how overpowered you could become. I enjoyed the various ways you could break the game though. At the same time, it was fun taking on Hayabusa with a standard build.
