Installed 4 times and played 20+ hours of it. I gave up this year. It fucking sucks. I gave it more time than FFXIII for it to "Just wait it gets better!"

Some of my friends do. Instead of playing the game for fun they play it to do the new content. Once they are done the new thing they drop it. They’re hooked. One even spent hundreds on bright engrams.

I never played 1 since i was a pcfag only until recently. got 2 and liked it but friends dropped it after the first raid came out. none of them want to play forsaken and i don't think you can feasibly try to get by solo

Should I get the annual pass? I do really like how the game plays despite its flaws. Got the base game when it was free and got Forsaken when it was on sale because a friend got it too.

Bungie already gave vanilla D2 out for free on PC a while back, it wouldn't surprise me if they did it again but for all platforms.
I don't see why the next DLC would be fallen focused, though, Black Armory was already mostly focused on Fallen. All the setup that bungie has been doing lately is making it seem like the next DLC is going to be a Taken King type of affair with a new enemy faction from those big triangle ships.

I'll keep playing Destiny so long as it has the tightest gun controls around, regular content updates, and an active player base.

Enhancement cores, RNG gear grinds, terrible matchmaking, terrible story presentation, and endless handcannon exotics would turn me to something else, but if there's one thing Bungie knows, it's how to make a gun feel fantastic.

I remember playing in the first couple months when the first raid came, out, lmao, I honestly want to know, if any of you know please tell me, who was in charge of game balance and shit. There were like 100+ guns in the game and only a single weapon in the game with the explosive bullets round, giving it higher dps than all the guns, making it the only gun worth using in the entire game, and it is given to you early in a quest. Seriously just ponder the fucking type of brain somebody needs to have to let this happen if they are in charge.

It's trash. Logged on yesterday thinking "hey I'm gonna grab Thorn real quick before Opulence drops!" did the first step and the second is Crucible related. Hop in and play a couple of games and I get stacked up against premades 2/3 games. Somehow a hunter pops the knife super like a minute in and mercs out my whole team, and proceeds to do it again.

That's after the 3 month hiatus I took from the last season which was a steaming pile of hot shit. I appreciate them introducing new modes into the game, but they made a DLC for it before it had ever been given the opportunity to properly mature. Now they have to balance even more content, which they couldn't do in the first place.

PvP is still shit too, like 2 game modes and 5 maps with zero control of where you're going or who you get matched against.

They hook you up with some shaders and an emblem that advertises you're a filthy goy.

PvP may be in a bad place but if you're complaining about a couple hours worth farm if you're shit or an hour if you're not, it's probably your problem.

I just haven't played for 3+ months. Even my binds are fucked up at this point. PvP is and has been shit since launch, period. There is no counterargument.

It took me like two hours of just doing it casually in quickplay. It's really not that hard, even if PVP is kinda shit. Good luck with the challenge mode strike at the end.

I'll fucking solo the strike, I probably won't play the game until the next expansion though.

It's clear as day that Destiny 2 is just on the backburner after Bungie split off. They're pooling all their resources into Destiny 3.

pvp is such shit. sucks bungie loves locking guns behind it and now that shit gambit mode. hopefully we'll get more pve only exotics this season.

I binged it for a couple months when it was free on PC, then dropped it afterwards. There's literally nothing left to do except play the same story strikes over and over again with very little return on loot. A mindless looter shooter for literal bugmen that enjoy doing the same task day in and day out. I wasn't even invested in the game when I played it, it got to the point where I would have a podcast on in the background while I played. Seriously can't fathom why people find this fun when there are better shooters to play.
