What is your excuse for not learning how to operate a fighter jet?

Yeah op, log 10,000 hours on falcon 4.0 I bet you still couldn’t fly a real f-16. Do you have any idea what it’s like to withstand several G’s of force all at once?

Have sex

No but your mom does when she takes my dick in her pussy.

i'm sure it's massively different for different people. also i heard they just throw people in them without simulator training anyway so you gotta be really gifted to not die immediately.

You've heard completely wrong or live in some third world hell hole. US pilots go through weeks/months of on the ground teaching and simulations before they ever fly anything real.

You couldn't do 99% of what you can do in any video game for real, so like, what's your point?

I’m waiting on the DCS Viper though

The op said that playing this game is the equivalent of learning how to fly an actual fighter jet. Which it obviously is not

Falcon 4 simulates being a fighter pilot.
DCS simulates being jew'd.

same here in france, first simulator and theoric courses, then you get to fly one of those cessna and then you'll fly on a old jet and then finally you get your ass inside that newest multi million dollar machine

Falcon doesn’t have the ubermensch chad F-14 Tomcat, though

The controls are the same. It's literally the same thing.

Next thing you're going to tell me is controlling a car in Forza is not the same as controlling a car in real life. Same with shooting a gun in VR or playing blackjack.

God I don't even know why I'm replying to a retarded fuck like you.

I really hope you’re being sarcastic here user

>controlling a car in Forza is not the same as controlling a car in real life. Same with shooting a gun in VR
Have you ever driven a car or shot a gun user? Because I don’t think you have based on the fucking retarded statement you just made

Yes I have. Clearly you haven't.

What the fuck are you talking about nigger. Even if you’re playing forza with a full steering wheel and gas pedal it’s still nothing like driving a real car. You can’t feel the subtleties of the acceleration in forza nor can you feel the movement of the car. And the “shooting a gun in vr” has to be the downright stupidest thing I’ve read on Yea Forums in a while. Tell me what vr game implements a controller with an ACTUAL gun shape, as well as real life recoil and the actual sound of a gunshot at realistic volume. There is no game in existence that can even come close to shooting a gun in real life. And you’re fucking retarded for thinking that playing a vr FPS makes you combat experienced in the slightest

>video games like real life

Playing Falcon 4 teaches you to fly an F-16 the same way Assetto Corsa teaches you to drive a car fast, regardless of whether the g-force is there or not. Just because it is not the real thing does not mean that it can't be educational. Simple as.

How does a person just decide they want to fly a jet? Is that actually possible? If you join the AF with that intention, how likely is it?

>people think it's literally not the same thing

>Despite militaries using programs to teach soldiers

>Despite air Force pilots being taught through simulators

God why even bother arguing with these idiots. They've lost the argument and are too stupid to even realize it

Just because they use it to “teach” doesn’t mean it’s the same thing. They don’t just have you play a simulator for a few months and then pop you into a multi-million dollar aircraft
SeeAnd

>Graduate from college with 3.0+ GPA while doing Navy/Airforce/Marine ROTC and commission aviation (chance of getting something you don't want and having to serve 4 years)
>Apply to Navy/Marine/Air Force Officer Candidate/Training School (Dunno how it is for AF, but in the Navy you apply for what you want. Generally much more competitive than ROTC, and much faster paced.) and commission aviation
>Apply to Navy/Air Force Academy (this is probably not feasible for you now) and commission aviation
>OPTIONAL: Go Army/Coast Guard if you want to fly helicopters. Army has a program specifically tracked to turn high-school grads into warrant officer pilots.
>Go to Air Force/Navy/Marine flight school
>Probably get a fighter slot if you're in the upper 25% of your class and aren't a shitter due to the 3,500+ F-35s being rolled out
>tfw just graduated college and wanted to go OCS for aviation since middle school, but had a fucking seizure last year
Just kill me man
