isn't "anywhere, anytime" the switch tagline?

...

why do they want people to always be online lel

Microsoft is withdrawing from the market.
engadget.com/2019/05/30/microsoft-xbox-game-pass-is-coming-to-pc/

OP is stupid, this probably mean you can stream your PS5 games on any devices hence the cloud gaming partnership with Microsoft.

>the kinect
>pricing a weaker console higher than it's superior counterpart.
>tv/football
>lack of games
>we have 360
>backpedaling like a bitch
Always online was an eventuality. Mattrick had no clue how to get there tho.

Microsoft is imbedding itself as a fabric of the market. They aren't stopping the same shit they always do but instead adding themselves into other areas. partnering with sony for cloud gaming. partnering with nintendo to get xbox games on the switch.

Microsoft is on a path that puts it everywhere. where no matter how you look at it money goes in there pockets and Yea Forums takes this as them stepping down.

Pretty much all your devices are "always online"
It doesn't even say that anywhere in the post anyway.
What Microsoft was trying to pull is completely different with them not even allowing you to access your games if you didn't "check-in" or whatever.
All this is saying is that you'll be connected to PlayStation at all times in more ways whether it be on the console, streaming, phone etc.
Good bait though and the mindless pedo weeb drones will flood the thread saying "SNOY SNOY MUH CENSORSHIP" without so much as a simple thought.

you are retarded
if it required an online connection all the time, it would have disconnections

saying "without disconnections" means it doesnt require an internet connection

of course it will, how else can snoy make sure to revoke access to any games they decide you shouldn't be allowed to own when?

>data caps
Do americans really?

>Better not have a data cap!
good thing I don't live in the third world

You’ve been posting this thread every day for the past 2 weeks

its still an effective dropout from the console business. What they're doing is good but it's gonna completely fuck up the industry in some way
Sony will have a monopoly on AAA games and thats gonna push them to do even stupider shit

Attached: tumblr_inline_dfgdfgfdg.gif (250x250, 2.03M)

>still making consoles
>dropping out of the console business

please explain how they're dropping out again. they have 2 new consoles on the horizon that given their current strategy will be on par if not better than PS5.

The indstury is headed towards streaming only.
Both microsoft and sony knew this and how much hate they would get back.

Sony was just smart enough to let someone else go first.

this. music, movies, tv shows, etc. are all being consumed via streaming now. vidya is next

He's banking on the average Yea Forums user having terrible memory and reading comprehension.

Except vidya streaming cant work because of input lag
you'd know this if you actually checked it out instead of spouting memes

the casual gamer doesnt give a fuck about input lag, most of them dont even know what input lag is

>half a second before your command gets registered
>your character continues moving for half a second even after you give a different input
>normalfags wont notice, its the future! Accept it!
are you a paid shill by any chance?

The ability to do remote play doesn't mean you can't use it offline as well.

They already can't tell the difference between 15 and 150 fps

as i said again, the casual gamer doesnt care. netflix still has a problem where it plays video at the lowest resolution even if their internet can handle a better resolution, but they dont give a fuck and watch it anyways

Cool, maybe xbox will pull a ps4 now.

15 fps is a 67ms frame. Its much easier to notice a 300ms input lag over 67ms frame lengths.

How does anything in that comment mean "always online"?

>drm.
>but with backwards compatibility.
Sounds like Xbox.

The poor ones.

>Except vidya streaming cant work because of input lag
Trust me I know, I tested OnLive to even Psnow.

But the gaming industry wants this, they're slowly pushing for it since they can sell a streaming service and make more than they could have ever wanted.

And thisYou would be surprise how many casual gamers can't tell input lag.

You also be surprise how much Fortnite change people's opinions on f2p.
Most of the comments on the new CoD trailer at first were wishing the game was f2p with microtransactions.

i mean come on, everyone has internet now so theres no execuse, what are you poor? y'all need to emberace the future and stop living in the past ffs.

remember when sega fans said the same delusional shit about the dreamcast? good times.

Attached: dreamcastdamagecontrol.jpg (532x421, 109K)

Yeah because sega is comparable to microsoft.
sega is on the cusp of announcing multiple console and just finished acquiring 15 studios barely spending a fraction of the overall company's wealth.
