The bowie version is "better" (and the original), but the midge version is comparable, however the two are distinctly different in style. This, I've always thought, was brilliant given the context in the game. The cover (Venom snake), no matter how good it is, will never, truly be what it is trying to be (big boss). Not only that, but The Man Who Sold The World is all about the "speaker" meeting his own doppelganger, and soon realizing that he cannot tell if he himself is the doppelganger or not. Say what you will about MGSV, but that right there is beautiful.

The Intro is unironically the best part of the game. I remember playing through the first 10 minutes going "HOLY SHIT FUCKING DEMON SOLDIERS TRYING TO KILL ME IN THIS SPOOKY HOSPITAL.
