What if Pokeymans Go was a real game based off a real franchise for real gamers?
Square Enix has unveiled Dragon Quest Walk for iOS and Android which will launch a Beta in Japan very soon.
It's a deeper experience with: >A story mode >Items and armor you can equip >Pails of Water >An Animal Crossing style home you can decorate with furniture you can find in the game
What's with the pail of water joke? I don't get it

The UI certainly seems like you can have a party of characters and DQ has always had some top tier waifus, so while nothing is announced, it would seem like a perfect mix to get some gacha in for party members.
They left comments on for a couple hours so I could read some in JP People seem to hate of "walking around looking at your phone" games and how its a pokemon go ripoff and how SE said this event was going to unveil something huge and revolutionary but that was a lie
Jeremiah Lopez
People were probably hoping for a real DQ sequel. I saw a news article about an announcement from Square going "Oh we are definitely in the planning phase for a Dragon Quest XII". There wouldn't be any reason to announce that if people hadn't been up in arms.
>Its not Dragon quest monsters GO! >you dont befriend monsters you find. >You dont train/Breed them in classic DQM style (something you could even do in DQMSL properly) >you dont fight with your monsters team and dont fight others monster teams in proper multiplayer.
this game blows, and will always blow, and the worst part is that since this game exists, there wont be a proper DQM GO! ever.
fuck squenix

>Everyone please badger S/E to bring it West.
Fak you gaijin. Stop compraining every time game only rerease in Nihon. Be gratefur you get anything at all firthy gaijin pig.
This wouldnt work in the west, these types of games generally need a sort of community. Dragon Quest isn't big in the west compared to Pokemon Go, not likely they'll bring it over, unless they manage to focus more on single player aspects, which I'd be down for. The problem with Go is that it got repetitive very quickly.
Dragon Quest Monsters specifically would be better

That is the problem with crummy Pokémon creatures. They're just not that interesting and the game is too basic. I think DQ has a lot more to offer with story, as you said, and items and party members to get.

For a guy who isnt in to dragon quest you sure are obsessed with going to every thread about it.

>only a few more months until I can marry Veronica
I'm so happy, lads.
