>No character specific endings in the arcade mode and the only ending there is lasts 5 seconds, just a voice saying that you won the game on a blue background
>Other modes are very basic: versus, same arcade mode, but with time trial and practice
>55 characters, but 46 of them are reused sprites from the previous Capcom games, out of 9 new ones 3 are shitty OG characters
>Two thirds of the roster are from X-men, Street Fighter and Darkstalkers
>Having to slowly grind points to unlock half of the cast (Thankully gone in PS3/X360 ports)
>No battle intro/win cutscenes
>Only 9 stages, though they do look very nice
>Ear rape music
>Intro cutscene doesn't use CG graphics, just cardboard cutouts of the characters
>Very cheap looking menu, it looked so awful that they had to completely re-do it from scratch for X360/PS 3 ports into something much nicer looking

Was this game made on extremely limited budget or something? Don't get me wrong, it's still fun to play and nice to look at, but it's one of the laziest games I've seen in terms of content and effort that went into making it.

Look at smash, arcade mode doesn’t having ending when I wish it did.

Gotta get it out before that Marvel licensing agreement expires.

>shitty OC characters
Ruby was cool as fuck

It's a shame they never brought her back, she was one of my favorite characters

Smash's classic mode doesn't have an ending cutscene, but at least each character gets congratulations screen with some unique artwork, MvC 2 has literally the same ending for everyone and it's very short and underwhelming

Psylocke is my waifu

Does Ruby Heart really count as OC seeing as she's a scrapped Darkstalkers 3 character?

Capcom's Psylocke makes hard. Shame I can never find porn of her.
