Sonic Chronicles

SMT 3 Nocturne

Honestly underrated
Definetely up there but Strange Journey is probably better

The sequel

Xenoblade X and 2.

What are some 'wild ride' games like Xenoblade?

i can see a case being made for X but not 2

Xenoblade X, Xenoblade 2

1's beginning is great but the story towards the end has a lot of plot holes and feels rushed. 2 has a slower and meh start but a way better ending. 2's gameplay is arguably better and the graphics are certainly better.

Any Suda game, specifically Killer7 and Travis Strikes Again.

literally any other RPG but specifically Persona 5

Runescape

when does this game get interesting? I'm in the first major area and so far it's been really dull. the characters are boring, generic shonen archetypes, and the combat is repetitive QTE.

you listed one of the only RPGs worse

am i weird for only like 1? i bought X and 2 and put a lot of time into them but never finished them. my god both stories were terrible, don't get me wrong they improved in terms of gameplay and exploration and world building but they felt much more ""anime"" in a bad way

just keep playing it'll get interesting

there's a shitton that's worse than xenoblade because jrpgs start turning into porn games the lower the budget gets

Xenoblade 2

That's normal, X really is all gameplay and sidequest, and 2 is just that bad

>the size of this field
There's no way this is in the game.

All memes aside what are some actual good RPGs? Preferably something from the last few years and not jap shit.

Xenoblade X

Xenoblade 2 is trash shit weeb-bait, unadultered cringe.

No, you're not weird but you still have terrible taste. Both X and 2 were vast improvements over 1, each in different areas of course but 1 is still the safest, most basic and dull rpg in the franchise.

I literally can't it's perfect

>perfect
Why didn't Egil board the Mechonis from the start?
Why didn't he use the Apocrypha's Monado wave detectors to find the Monado, was it conveniently made within 4 years after thousands of years?
No one knew about High eEtia in Colony 9 despite both Alcamoth/Bionis leg residence traveling to Makna forest regularly to trade with Nopon?
Why didn't Dunban know about the High Entia if he's been to Sword Valley?
Why didn't LITERALLY ANYONE in Junks tell the party about Zanza?
Why didn't anyone in Junks recognize Dickson if Egil was able to recognize him at first glance in a completely different form?
Did no one in Alcamoth ever accidentally get near high ether deposits when there are multiple of them in the world?
What even is ether, or literally any world concept? (this had to be explained in Xenoblade 2)
How did Egil overthrow all of the Machina?
How did Shulk come back from the dead post-Mechonis core exactly? (This is actually justified/explained in Xenoblade 2)
Why did Zanza need to possess Arglas to attack Mechonis? We saw that Meyneth was able to immediately retaliate with her own body directly, so why the need for Zanza to leave his Monado for someone to take?
Why was Meyneth still around if Zanza apparently destroyed the world over and over again?
Why did Meyneth think she could still reason with Zanza on prison island if Zanza apparently destroyed the world over and over again?
Why was Meyneth even a God in the first place if Zanza was so supreme and dominant?
If Zanza only did what he did because he desires friendship and interaction with his people, why didn't he try to make amends with everybody? Why did he need to destroy the world multiple times?
Why couldn't Egil just have contacted the High Entia ages ago? He knew they had sealed Zanza away in Prison Island, and said he had no qualms with the people of the Bionis.

The list would be too long.

Keep seething XC2fag

>shulk is such a shitty protagonist that he fucking whines like a moralfag bitch when Dunban tries to kill the man who killed Shulk's GF
>Rex holds nothing back against Malos like a fucking CHAD and has no problems when killing others when necessary
Cope smash secondary.

anything is better than this offline mmo filled with fetch quests

>Grrrrrr I'm REALLY angry I'm going to hit things!

Wow what a well written and likeable protagonist

>waahhh I'm really nice I'm going to save people, even my enemies and whine like a complete bitch whenever we have to kill anyone
Wow what a well written and likable protagonist

He says this to decrease morale but it's clear he was full of shit, he always wanted everyone around him to THINK he was high and mighty

He wasn't lying about the 'destroying the world over and over' part, it's just an overdramatic way to describe the way the Telethia wipe out life on Bionis every now and then. Alvis explains at the end that the reason things were that way was because Zanza wished for a world 'in a perpetual cycle of destruction and recreation'.
Hence that user's question - if Zanza did this over and over, why was Meyneth okay with it for so long, and why did she think she could somehow talk things over with Zanza at Prison Island?
