ALL NEW GAMES WILL HAVE MANY BOOSTING SECTIONS WHERE YOUR WITTY SMALLER SIDE-KICK WILL KICK DOWN THE LADDER. YOU WILL ALSO BECOME EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED TO THEM

Some day, all games are going to star you the player as gruff Protagonist Man, and you will be followed by your wise-cracking AI sidekick (who is generally smaller in size and cannot be directly hurt or seen by enemies unless a quicktime event is prompted.)

Think about it. This is the future of gaming. All games will be 3rd person shooters where you learn to love again and learn deep, deep things about your character and also your wise-cracking sidekick. You also will crack jokes while murdering lots and lots of bad guys and neither of you will get PTSD.

Because once you play so many you can see all the strings being pulled and the magic is gone so you become extremely nitpicky about everything you play because you feel an emptiness that you try so desperately to recapture but can never again obtain.

Or you just play games too much and need a break.

It really does make me feel kind of sick. I used to enjoy story telling that focuses on the relationship between two characters because you can really develop their personalities and let the audience witness a bond which allows a more intimate/personal connection.
Now what you get is the same recycled garbage done over and over with a few altered changes here and there and I'm just sick of the cliched dynamics you get in every fuckin game now.

idk, maybe humanity's already run out of ideas.

It's gaming of the future so Idk what you're talking about
