BASED. But where's super monkey and boomerang monkey?
I showed my dad this game and he beat it in a couple hours.
Right here.
Oh shit, I forgot the tower even existed, probably because it's so useless. I remember dropping those pineapples on the road on the level when lead bloons first come in if I hadn't build a cannon yet
>BASED Beekeeper was only a tower in the iOS version of 4, a special agent in 5, and now completely gone from 6.
Feelsbadman. I fucking love bears.
What went wrong lads?
i cant fucking stand 6
5 is sort of okay, but the shitty F2P elements really hold it back.
Ive never played 6 but it looks awful.
The last I played was 4 what has happened since?
Only zoomers remeber this

Loved that game
And just like that, it's 2010 again and I'm on Kongregate
Holy shit I finally found it.
The first 80 rounds are more or less recycled from 5, but the power levels of the towers were massively increased so it's piss easy. Then after round 80 the ceramics gain 6* health out of nowhere, the difficulty becomes bullshit and invalidates any strategy that doesn't specialize around ceramics, which is most of them because most towers only deal high blimp damage.
5 had the same problem where the "end game" was just endless blimps and its boring as fuck.
This game was actually good, but lacked content. More ships, more enemies. More stuff to do.
I really like this list.
Who remembers those shitty Yahooligans games?
For me, it was Grow Cube.
The problem with 6 is that the whole game is balanced around the last 20 rounds, which are only difficult because of the ceramics getting super strong without any warning. Before 81 hits it's a slog because the new towers are too strong for even the hardest rounds from 5 to pose any threat. After 81 hits, your options are limited to things that kill ceramics really well. It's backwards and retarded.
This looks familiar. Was it a cereal box game?
What did they do
Man your cereal box games were ass, I got RCT2 out of a cereal box and that shit was life changing
Once the devs moved on to MMOs, they handed their older games like Adventure Quest and Dragonfable to the fans. Don't go back if you don't want your memories of these games ruined. The nu-stories written by the fans make Kingdom Hearts look intelligent by comparison.
Stick war 1 was kino
It was a math game I played at my Elementary School
>final level's statue breaks
>giant comes out of it
fucking loved this game
I liked the Linage game he made the most
>most towers only deal high blimp damage
There's more than enough towers to deal with Super Ceramics (which is to be totally honest a stupid system, but that's beside the point).
>Crossbow Master can shred Super Ceramics well enough and has innate Lead popping power (although he himself isn't good enough to solo rounds so you'll need other stuff)
>Glaive Lord
>Recursive Cluster spam
>Bloon Crush
>Inferno Ring on maps with good loops for the Inferno (and to a lesser extent Ring of Fire)
>Tack Zone except it doesn't need a good loop, Overdrives definitely do at 81+
>Bloon Liquefier isn't really good enough on its own when you get into the Fortified Ceramic spam, but it can still help a fair bit, Solver don't care
>Sub spam
>Spectre (if aim isn't shit) and Flying Fortress
>Apache Prime
>Biggest One
>Archmage (although relatively easy to overwhelm)
>Poplust squad with or without Avatar of Wrath
Solid list, but consider: MARDEK.
My nigga
Holy fuck those games existed and I never realised adventure quest is now 17 fucking years old. I'm going in bros
Exactly what do you mean "handed them to the fans?"
>tfw DF had that one spooky town that also had a spooky quest like this that ended with a well
Who here played PC installed games when you had no internet? What's your favorite one?
A group of fans on the forums volunteered to keep the games running when the devs announced that they were moving on, and were sort-of-but-not-really hired to produce content weekly to this very day. They're basically jannies that develop new content for the games. Naturally, their writing style sticks out horribly as deviantart-tier edge that doesn't blend in, which is unfortunate because the new now outweighs the old, making it really hard to ignore.
When was this
thanks for reminding me that i need to finish sonny 2
>Robot Wants Kitty
>Robot Wants Puppy
>Infectonator: World Dominator
>Fancy Pants Adventure: World 2
Based
>be working at a call center
>PCI compliance means everything is blocked
>some random dude finds this flash game site totally unblocked
>get everyone to play bloons TD 4
>get so far into the game that all I have are like 100 zeppelins coming out and it starts to lock up my PC during calls while troubleshooting with customers
kek
Around the early 2010s, which is coincidentally when AQworlds got popular. Nowadays the main devs only focus on their MMOs. Shame really.
Seriously this. I'm pretty sure I logged in like 3 or so years ago. Maybe it was 5 years ago, damn time has passed, but it looked relatively same.
Speaking of Robot Wants,
>Robot Wants it All is a game on Steam, including all the old adventures and a new one
Why would you do that? CPU ain't cheap.
It ain't mine lol that job was like a legal slave sweatshop fuck that place
Do you know what point in the story they took over? Book 2? Book 3?
they fucked everything up
The best around
I think it was when Tomix became a character, which was between books 1 and 2.
Nick games were also my shit back then.
Fuck, Ravenloss was my favorite arc.
>nobody said onslaught 2 yet
spending all night on this and the forums trying to push high-scores with full autism laser chains
That's definitely treasure mountain, but what variant?
Obligatory Nitrome post.
That game that just had a bunch of things to interact with and i had no fucking clue how to play
Bunch of stick figures
Mathstorm, I believe
Hapland.
Yeah those
Could never figure out what the fuck was going on
This was fucking kino, though I always felt pic related was overused and there weren't enough classic shooter games
Interesting game.
>Toss the Turtle
I play that on my phone now, it's still decent. I always preferred Berzerk Ball though, wish it had a mobile port
They keep fucking up by """""balancing""""" towers resulting in the CHIMPS meta changing so much no one can actually find solutions for the extreme levels anymore.
>crtl + f
>soldat
>0 results
Shit thread.
Where can I preorder this???????????
Remember this?
no, but I remember playing multiplayer counterstrike without installing it at work. Thanks to flash.
Cool stuff. Though for me, I've spend most of my childhood playing education games, Tv show games, etc.
Pico's School
BASED
Who remembers the game where you're a stick figure and you have to go across the country avoiding the police
It wasn't a flash game, it was earlier than that
Also there was some bug RTS I played as a kid on a win98 pc that was kickass, never got the full version though, cant remember the name.
>GemCraft
Glad to see someone remembers
kurwa
>Sonny
Fucking god tier
youtube.com
game?
>sudden difficulty spikes
Only thing that bothers me.
Im dissapointed that noone posted pic related
Thought the same, countless hours wasted...
games like this in html5 are trash. It is insane how far away html5 is from flash, when it can't even make the lowest tier flash games.
Flash is a lot more invasive so it's easier to make more complicated shit.
I think this is partially true. I think that html5 is convoluted and badly concepted and not made for extreme interaction like games. html is made for static content like websites. The dynamic content in html5 is an afterthought and a nightmare. html5 is a bad memory hog and people working on it have no idea what they are doing, thus forcing html into dynamic content with html5. Opening multiple websites with small video clips will kill your browser quickly. Making good games with html5 is a bad idea because canvas is just shit (made by apple) and as said before html5 was never made for dynamic content.
