Nowadays I only use my CRT for my PS2. I use an OSSC for the rest of my old consoles.

On my older LCD screen I had the backlight at minimal settings and the brightness significantly lowered. Hell I still usually drop the brightness by a ton. Calibrate your shit.
Also that's one of the better CRTs ever made paired with a stock standard fucking Dell monitor from nearly 15 years ago of course it will look like shit

Forget CRTs, I put an 46" Samsung flat-screen on there and the only people that responded never replied so it's still sitting in my garage gathering dust. One person even asked me to ship it. If I wanted to ship it I would've put in on eBay.
