Not enough gay sex

No music

Because everything is copy-pasted, causing the game to be extremely predictable. Once you've played for 10 hours you've seen everything the game has to offer.

What part are you in OP?

Most likely because you don't like emergent or exploration gameplay, or are too attached to the old formula; but, it is a very flawed game though. Sad to hear you couldn't enjoy it.
Link's Awakening>BotW>>>>>>>ther Zelda games

because you're just walking around doing shrines, there's fun to be had but just doing shrines gets boring

Why is the camera so shit, especially in combat?

extremely repetitive, barely any content in a massive world

MM>botw>oot>TP>>>>>WW>>>>>>>>>SS

Vah Naboris

3/4ths of the divine beasts down

Just have death mountain left. Already have the master sword. I'm not intrigued at all. The shrines are too basic, the combat is dull, the wep degradation is degrading itself. I see no replay value. At all which is a shame.

Climbing over most of everything is nice. But that's it

It's a proof of concept.
The next Zelda title should actually be a full game.

Masterpiece:
> TP
> OOT
> MM
> ALTTP
Very good:
> ALBW
> Z2:AOL (assuming you use a walkthrough)
> Zelda 1 (assuming you use a walkthrough)
Heavily flawed but still decent:
> Skyward Sword
> Spirit Tracks
> Wind Waker
Dogshit tier:
> BOTW

i've seen this comment like 5 times today

that probably means you should browse less

Because everyone knows it's true, which is why it always gets posted, but BOTW babies are too delusional to see the truth

cause your faggot zoomer brain needs a constant dopamine rush to even feel alive, stop playing vidya anytime now please

but i had a lot of fun with the game

what are you even doing on Yea Forums?

Or maybe some autists should lurk more and shut the fuck up instead of posting their same shitty post over and over

>wep degradation is degrading itself

This. The fact basically every weapong breaks after even a minor skirmish is ridiculous. I don't mind weapons that break, but imo you shouldn't lose them permanently and should be able to repair them at a city blacksmith.

>no one should enjoy anything ever or ever experience any pleasure whatsoever

that's why you're so depressed all the time and have to take it out on others. sad, really.

calm down love, I wasn't the one who posted it. just looking out for your health

>Masterpiece:

Thanks for not wasting anyone's time at least

Congrats on being so easily entertained. It must be nice to be able to have fun with even the shittiest of games and not have to search for quality to enjoy yourself

>Very good
>Zelda 1
I love that game because of nostalgia, but come on dude

It's pretty fun if you have a walkthrough and don't waste time dicking around looking for the obscure secrets. If nothing else the dungeons are solid and enjoyable.

Entire mountain ranges have positively nothing to do besides shrines and Korok seeds.
Makes Fallout 3 look like New York City.
Though I feel this way about lots of games these days

Recommend me quality games user. You seem like an interesting person. I really want to stop playing these shitty games

My main fun source comes from Starcraft 2 multiplayer ladder. Should i stop it? i want to know your opinion

It's funny how BoTW shills have gone so far to the other side that now the idea of content that isn't walking around an open world is now considered bad.

Bloons Tower Defense

I've been playing through Baba is You, the Resident Evil series, and Demon's Souls on rpcs3. I preordered Heavy Rain for PC and I'm looking forward to playing that in about a month. Personally I don't really enjoy tryhard competitive multiplayer, but that's for you to be the judge of. If you like competitive games then ask someone else for recommendations cause IDK

It's not, you're just boring.

You complain about linear games but don't know how to make your own fun.

>putting shitquaker, PH and ST above botw

>preordered Heavy Rain
that "game" is beyond awful, you should cancel that shit

PH isn't even on my list, I haven't played it yet. And IDK why you're complaining so much, WW and ST are both in the bottom 3. But BOTW is so godawful it deserves it's own tier right at the bottom, just for it.

I played the demo and liked it. The QTEs are funny in a "so bad it's good" kind of way. I'm not expecting an Oscar winning story, but I only paid $10 for it and I have a feeling it'll be worth that at least.

>PH
>ST
>bad
They are short and the controls aren't the best but they are in no way bad. I'd rather a short game than a long, 90%-filler game like Bore of the Wild.

the curve of difficult in baba is you is so poorly designed

The controls aren't the problem with ST. I haven't played PH but my issues with ST were the train, which was boring filler, the lack of fast travel, forcing you to take the train everywhere, andthe fact that most of the dungeons outside the Tower of Spirits were pretty uninspired. Tower of Spirits was amazing and singlehandedly redeems the game into something worth playing, but it's still one of the worse entries in the series

Personally I liked the challenge, but I'm a hardcore puzzle fan so I can see how it might be frustrating for people that don't enjoy spending an hour plus on one level

WW is a bland and empty world with nothing to do in it, botw has lots of mini bosses, weapons and korok seeds to find. The shrines are bland and make the game a slog to replay though but at least it's not just ugly blue water and you don't need to pull out the windwaker every couple of minutes
They're shitty gimmick meme games, PH is horrendously handholdy and playing with the stylus sucks, and the temple of the ocean king was a retarded idea. ST is an improvment over PH but still has the awful gimmick bullshit PH has and lacks the overworld exploration in favour of the train system

because nothing matters in the context of the game. Four types of permanent rewards: Armor, which causes a prompt, proportional increase in the damage enemies do. Health, which is largely irrelevant as most stuff either one shots you or does no damage. Stamina, which is completely unnecessary for the story. Weapon slots, which are a pain to get seeds for and largely useless given the quantity of available weapons at any time. Zero progression, zero satisfaction unless you liked aimlessly playing in sandboxes as a child.

If you count shrines and koroks in BOTW the you should also count all the little islands and mast things in WW. And BOTW may not have the wind waker, but it does have what feels like minute long loading screens anytime you fast travel or enter/exit a shrine. Ultimately I agree with you on WW, but I think BOTW is even worse.

> Armor, which causes a prompt, proportional increase in the damage enemies do.
Kek, is this actually true? Wouldn't surprise me a bit. I hate it when games do shitty level scaling like that. It makes it so that you never feel actually feel more powerful. The numbers get bigger but the game feels exactly the same all levels. Come to think of it, that's probably yet another reason why I didn't enjoy BOTW

empty

I get where you're coming from, but I've found botw far more enjoyable than the windwaker, especially since it takes hours before you can even get fast travel in WW and the triforce hunting part just makes the game unplayable for me as koroks and shrines in botw are mostly optional

I think BotW is a fun game. Though I wish there were more things in it like armour, which was the only thing that felt like a satisfying accomplishment to get.
Though I'm a big fan of the Epic Battle Fantasy 5 style of equipment in general.

Maybe actually distributing your powers among the four divine beasts would have helped. The game did feel like it was afraid of not being designed specifically against what you were able to do, which was strangely contradictory with its open nature (which it did actually provide, rather than just promising).

It's true, but basically everything you do in the game increases enemy difficulty (finding unique weapons, upgrading your armour, opening chests, etc). So it's almost not worth worrying about, even though that doesn't make it a better mechanic or anything.
Non-scaling difficulty would have worked really well with how many interesting combat tactics you can engage in (since non-scrubs would be able to feel good about breaking through an encampment that out-levelled them). Oh well, I guess.

I do hope that we get a BotW 2.0 as some future LoZ game. It could easily be improved upon to become much better. Which I'm sure would lead to some interesting critic scores, since they'd have to upgrade on their 97s.

Part of it might just be the way I played the game. I spent a lot of time doing shrines in BOTW trying to upgrade my stamina and hearts, but if I had just gone straight to the divine beasts I probably would have enjoyed the game more. Still though, both are some of the weakest zeldas in the series and I hope Nintendo goes a different direction for the next one.

Because it's copy-pasted. Once you've browsed Yea Forums for 10 hours you've seen everything the site has to offer.

If we actually played the game the flashbacks were telling it could've been as amazing as people wanted it to be. A journey with a narrative, meaningful goals (recruiting the creature riders, visiting the shrine, escorting a fickle zelda) and an interesting twist at the end. Instead it's just wandering with some mini-dungeons pasted all over the map.

Because you own a PS4.
