Imagine how great the game would've been without V. If they release DMC6 and had Vergil as a playble protagonist with no summoner characters. It would easily top DMC5. Even if they changed nothing with Dante and Nero and the plot was bad.

What the hell. I watch the stream all the way up to the Vergil reveal and still enjoyed the fuck out of the game on release. It's a game not a movie.

Because character action games were never something I cared about despite how fun this game looked. However, I didn't feel like playing to the old games to "get" the story because they look dated.
