I run it with anticrash on Win10 and have no problems at all
I haven't had anywhere near enough crashes to annoy me or make me frustrated with it, I don't even remember it crashing in my last 2 or 3 playthroughs, it doesn't crash anymore than any other game I play

If I recall correctly, the reason the game shits itself on modern machines is because it was only designed for processors with no more than 2 cores. If your processor has more than that, you have to alter it the INI file so that it only uses two.
