user, it's literally 4 boss battles. Did the people complaining even play the game? The only "mandatory" part of the repeat is the 4 crystal bosses. Hell, I don't even understand some of the complaints because the repeat cycles add some fun as fuck optional boss battles.

They changed the writer for a "Team of writers", changed the music composer (although, to be fair, it was because he was very busy at the moment) and the massive censorship in the west. Your pic related is the biggest example, bravely default's secret movie suggested that she was the new MC, it was set in the distant future and the ba'al were going to be important, then that fucking "team of writers" turned her into a pathetic cock sucking bitch, only two years passed and the ba'al were irrelevant.

Bravely second had a very neat little story gimmick with how to get the 2nd half of the game to start, its also a very slightly bit meta in general.
2 was better than 1, BUT 2 reused so much fucking shit from 1 that it was a sin, these fucking layouts aren't exactly expensive 3d masterpeices and yet they still couldn't make new ones (besides a VERY few series of areas).
running through all those old area's again is retarded.

I'm 30 years old, grew up with a SNES and psx. Bravely Default was just FFV's gameplay rehashed with a repetitive and shitty story. Worst part about it is the low poly, soulless graphics of the 3ds though. Only a zoomer can stomach something like that since that is what he grew up with
