It's always possible unless your FACTORY firmware is above 3.60. It's only even a worry on newer Japanese units.

PSP isos go to pspemu/iso folder. PSX games go to pspsemu/psp/game folder. To get bubbles you need adrenaline bubbles manager.

You should be, there is an homebrew app named Throphy Manager that lets you delete individual game trophies.

The only things that are wonky on Vita PSP are homebrew that made use of the media engine chip since that got scrapped. Compatibility for PSP games should be above 90%. Not every PS1 game works though unfortunately as we're locked to one single POPSloader version.

The deadzone plugin, it's an absolute lifesaver. Lets you set custom deadzones and remap the sensitivity, which is great if you've got a unit with stick drift. There's also one that permanently disables AVLS, whereas on 2000 models it's always set to turn itself back on either after 30 hours or a reboot.

set a game to game default, set that config as default and you wont have that problem

Yes. You can literally hack your Vita and get Adrenaline, which is a straight up PSP emulator (with the PSP's menu and settings and all). It has a better battery life, better screen, better controls, more power... there's no sensible reason to want a PSP over a Vita unless you insist on full authenticity while playing PSP games or you just want nostalgia.

You should spoof your firmware version in henkaku's settings and change your DNS settings to what yifanlu's hacking guide recommends just to be careful. But just so you know, there has never been a record of someone having their PS account banned because they hacked their Vita.

I don't know about SNES but the Game Boy had those crazy cartridges with 100 games on them back in the day. Actually it wasn't really until the era of game discs that piracy started to become difficult.

This all happens on PSP. Then the sequel gets a Vita port, that ports gets localized and it ends there for West while that sequel gets a what if semi-sequel on Vita that won't get localized.

You don't need a SD2Vita to hack it, quite the opposite, you can't hack it with a SD2Vita. You need a Sony memory card if you're on the Vita 1000. The Vita 2000 has 1GB of storage built in so you can use that.

Most people just buy the cheapest Sony memory card available. I believe the smallest is 4GB, can be found in the wild for $10-$20.

The console itself? I don't think so. I've modded the game so that the stretching is no longer an issue and it plays in 16:9 like it's supposed to. There's also a patch to speed up combat actions. Pretty sweet when modded.

It emulates all GBA games perfectly. SNES games are sometimes good sometimes bad but only if they're a really demanding game. In my experience, SNES9x worked very well for me on my 3DS.

The latter game is probably one of my favourite PSP games. Think about it this way. The Vita flopped. It's not even that popular among enthusiasts. Vita hacking has regenerated interest in the platform, even if it's just among a very niche user base. Why would Sony want to eliminate the possibility of you buying shit from PSN? Yes, you'll pirate anyway, but why would they permanently close the option to sell you shit? It's not beneficial for them to ban you.

The hacking community will be done with the vita once its reliably hackable. So right now, when shit can be hacked, there is nothing more to do. If or when sony creates a patch to block the current exploits, then there will be something to be done.

All i used my vita after 2014 for were psp games and some inide titles that are better to be played on a bigger screen, indie games often are detailed and have a smaller character to play as,games like fez, guacamelee, spelunky are better to be played on a big screeen not on a phone with buttons.
Psp is upscaled and not resolution is not native, so it would be either pixelated or muddy depending on the filter you are using. Psp has much better everything really, even vita menu looks like some cheap android knockoff with a screen that is like a magnet for fingerprints.
I still use my vita cause my psp barely works and i have about 10 physical games and about 20+ digital ones, so. I would have sould it if my psp worked better, honestly

I'm happy I've bought a 1000 gazillion years ago when people were selling them cheap as fuck because it flopped. Display is still going strong, no corruption or spots whatsoever. Coupled with a shitty $1 chink SD adapter it's the ultimate machine for anything pre-PS2 era.

It would have to be a very very obscure game on a system that is based around games that would be obscure usually but are the main selling point of this console.

if it's not on NPS it may still have a good nonpdrm dump online, or a bad but usable old vitamin dump. i don't know of any games that aren't dumped at all.
