Whats the difference between 1.6, Source and GO? all of them seem pretty much the same besides graphics but neck-beards have been arguing over them for decades now

1.6 and CS:S are the fun ones.
CS:GO is a soulless abomination

1.6 has soul

Balance changes, hitbox differences, map layout slight adjustments

1.6 has cool engine features, like func_vehicle that lets you drive a vehicle around, which was revolutionary even before half-life 2 did it
Source has a fuckton of new cool gamemodes like Minigames and Hulk and new fun custom maps to boot.
Global Offensive is more competitive based, which takes away from the fun shit that was to be had with it's previous games. Plus GO was supposed to be a console port of CS:Source

is there official servers for 1.6 still?

Yeah theres like 7 that still get filled up, but those are more serious pub servers.

I haven't played cs 1.6 in a while ago because everytime i tried to join to a server, a message appeared saying the map differs from the server and sometimes it said something about a sprite cant be loaded or something but, today i tried again playing in OP's server and nothing happened, i played with you guys and nothing weird happened. Does anybody know what's happening with my cs?

Cause all the servers that run are filled with spics, and they use shit thats not compatible with regular clients.
We're not spics so of course our server worked

your files are different then what the server has, just delete those files from ur games folder and u should be good

Spics and brazilians have a hard-on for using shit like skins and different models, most of them are pirates of course so no wonder your vanilla CS client can't even join their servers.

When i played in those servers, nothing like that happened, just shit like the VIP thing where they give you the guns for free. How could i get rid of this problem?

thats a fake server with fake people on, try not to get in those.
as u can see in the picture, on those servers the player number seems quite weird and offset, u can also just right click and server info to see that nobody is playing on them only like 3 bots, thats how u avoid them

Damn thanks for that, user, i didn't know it. It always intrigued me that all the number of players were the same (all with 20/20 or 30/30) but when i play tfc or half life multiplayer, the numbers are normal. But, in which servers should i play now?

also i dont know if this is the case but sometimes those servers create binds on ur config that may make u join theirs server and automatically make say binds that posts server ips in the chat, if thats the cause u can look into ur configs and look for sketchy stuff, but sometimes is trickier then that, soo if u see anything like that happen i recommend u to just reinstall the game.

Nothing like that have happened to me and i've uninstalled that game a lot of times because i've been trying to join a server before but you know, i still can't.

ye it happens, as for what servers to join, u choose what to prefer i usually just go on gametracker.com/search/cs/?search_by=map and search for what i want to play and search for servers in my country or near to minimise the ping

user, we don't meme about only Spics playing 1.6 and your proof of it. Brazilians, Mexicans, Spanish, Russians, and Portuguese people are the only ones playing 1.6 nowadays.

well i can find servers all over europe with people playing, but that is to be expected cs was always bigger in europe, majority of na gaymers are zoomers anyways they wouldnt know about 1.6

Well I mean CS:GO is bigger in America then it is in Europe right now.
Maybe older games are more popular in europe because Europe is comprised of poorer countries, and similar to Russia and South America when your only rich enough to afford a PC that can only run GTA San Andreas you start to play only that as that is the only game you can play
