Sorcerer. Strider is a close second.
>beloved
She-Goat of course, but only because my pawn is off-limits.

Best beloved

Is Strider fun? I've had my pawn as Strider for a while. It has a lot of disable and CC stuff, so having a companion with it kicks ass.

It has an innate higher climb speed and damage boost while climbing, so it's easily the best for climbing big monsters. It's also got the best unique dagger skills, in my opinion. Brain Splitter is huge damage and can be used to prevent fall damage from any height, soaring/leaping stone lets you perform jumps no one else can and climb to monster weakpoints even faster, ensnare is a fun aoe cc for setting up dumb combo shenanigans. It also has insanely high shortbow dps with cloudburst volley and fracture dart, and lets you punch above your weight class better than most vocations with mighty bend.

I'll probably give it a shot at some point. Bows aren't usually my style in games.

I'd say Assassin for gotta go fast dps or Mystic Knight for fucking the frame rate and channeling my wizard knight power fantasies
It's a regular shame I have to rebuild my character from 360 to PC now though, only up to level 75 when last I played

I love this game. I like all vocations.
Always go for the tits. Not unlike my first playthrough where I had to rescue & have bufu with the goddman inn keeper...

So I'm replaying this on PC after playing it on PS3

Holy fuck the difference is astounding. Any mods you guys would recommend? Whats a good way to get better gear or weapons? I'm on Hard and I'm stuck on the Holy Lich boss on BBI and vanilla DD is boring, at the part before you go to court. Using a Gryphic Victory you get from one of the escort quests on the board in Gran Soren.

I know I'm 7 years late to the party, but I'm playing through this game for my first time.
Every time I talk to the blacksmith, I hear the affinity jingle. Is there a way for me to lower it? Can I just smack him with my sword and go to jail?

>arena before the fallen city
>two dragons
>they're casting lightening, meteor shower and an instant death spell
>heart is locating near the stomach, so it's difficult to climb near it enough to attack it

what the fuck were those even? harder than daimon by far. after 20 minutes i gave up and ran past them

You can unsheathe and sheathe your weapon repeatedly in front of them and see if they react, you'll have done it correctly. I think there is also an item you can give to drop affinity if I'm not mistaken.

Everything you'd ever want right there. Cross-vocation skills, armor, and weapons. Manual control of pawn inclination values. Register weapon/skill sets to a hotkey and cycle them at-will. Adds a lot of fun functionality to the game for repeated playthroughs.

Based
Thanks user, I'll go light on the cheating and just give Warrior 6 skill slots as it should have.

>Using a Gryphic Victory you get from one of the escort quests on the board in Gran Soren.

you need at least a bbi level 1 weapon to fight that boss, a level 2 is available at that point tho. go kill the gorecylops in the midnight helix for a chance for level 2 bbi weapons and armor. also good luck killing him as a warrior.

>Thanks user, I'll go light on the cheating and just give Warrior 6 skill slots as it should have.
Different user, but unfortunately they haven't been able to pull that off. You're still stuck with 3.

I don't think it's listed in the mod notes but the hotkeys for cycling skill/weapon sets is left alt+whatever the actual binded key is. For warrior you'll just have to make two skill sets and swap between them whenever you want the other 3 skills.

dump some pawn creations that I can use please

>Wanted chocolate knight
>Got blond skank
Fucking dragon doesn't know shit.

They really should've let you dress your beloved in post-game so you could parade her around town in outfits like that.

Did DDO ever make a Monk or Fist-fighting vocation? I really hope they do something like that in DD2 if it ever happens.

I'll farm it and give it a go, the Gazer wasn't too hard but Lich is a bitch of a DPS check.
Thanks user I'll try it.

DDO got an "alchemist" class that is just a fist-fighter. The magic shit that happens when they punch you is called alchemy.
youtube.com/watch?v=k4nOoADmf8k

yes, there's an item called the bloody knuckle that lets you use your fists, user in a different thread said it was cool. you get it from one of the bbi request board quests

Are you shitting me, that looks cool. Too bad that'll never be localized.
I'm aware of the item, but it doesn't let you do specific weapon skills or get any unique augments.

Attached: 1536512940530.jpg (1280x720, 103K)

Unsheathe and sheathe your weapon repeatedly in front of them, when you hear the sound effect after doing it enough they've dropped a level

Just don't do it too often or they might run away from you, learned that the hard way with the innkeeper

I actually managaed to beat both those fuckers with pure luck.
Just focus on one at a time and keep moving and hoping the other one doesnt hit you.

Bring wakestones
I beat at like lvl 100 casue i needed the frost dragon horns for weapon upgrades for the frost bow for ranger

Use the fire bow you find in Bitterblack ile and use a vocation that specializes in bow and arrow. and use the fivefold or ten fold aroow move at their heart and maybe use some conqueror pendants for attack boost

>Amazingly fun shit like Alchemist and High Scepter/Spellsword will never get localized over to any region outside Japan, and there's only a slim chance DD2 would use vocations from DDO

It hurts. youtube.com/watch?v=wnMWzWUBgkc Bit broken (probably due to spell charge times, if anything) but looks damn fun.

How do you get a Griffin to attack you? I've seen it flying overhead several times but it's never jumped me
I'd like to fight it

>Warrior cuz Arc of Deliverance
>Jewtits

It'll come to you when it damn well pleases user.

Attached: Arc of Deliverance.webm (1067x600, 2.18M)

Shoot it. If you've got a shield you can taunt it.

you now, tits notwithstanding, I fucking love the outfit she wears

bait it with a carcass

Bait it with dead things. Goblins or oxen, depending on which spot.

Should I draw more Jewtits or Yea Forums's pawns?

Attached: madeline crossing fingers.png (184x172, 6K)

both?

I really wanted to like this game, but it's so repetitive and capcom are the kings of autistic dialogue and story

>Using a Gryphic Victory
You could be using Iraklis, which is basically a tier 3 BBI weapon when fully upgraded.

How far did you get into it? I didn't like it until legitimately 10 hours in, around the time I hit level 30 or so. It takes a long time to become fun, but once it hits that point, it's great.
I know that's a shitty defense for a game, but if there's ever a game that it applies to, it's DD.

I got to the old man in the cave in the hill where the boulders outside are aligned to make a picture of a ...man?
I did a fair bit of grinding and exploring first, though. I've been to the loli witch in the misty woods, did the water god's altar, been to a weird ...church? in the woods with the chimeras

>I'm on Hard and I'm stuck on the Holy Lich boss on BBI
Buy some throwblasts from cassardis and kill it with a few of those. I'm making a speedleveling video for my channel, going from lvl 1 to 200 as fast as you can and the fastest way to level up is to buy throwblasts and go straight into BBI, that shit is OP as fuck you have no idea.

Also,
>I'm replaying this on PC after playing it on PS3
>Holy fuck the difference is astounding
Honestly I couldn't tell the difference, maybe because I played the PS3 version years ago but it's literally the same game and same experience.

>Any mods you guys would recommend?
I would just throw a reshade on top of it to increase the saturation slightly and that's it.

Which vocation were you playing? Some vocations are straight-up boring until you hit their fifth level or so.

strider mainly, IIRC
I want to say I tried magic archer and ranger near when I quit.

Most vocations get good skills by level 30, and you tend to get good equipment around that point and hit the quests where you run into some real monsters instead of just goblins, wolves, and bandits. You can always just go to BBI for a big dungeon crawl to see if you like that more.

Magick Archer is the exact class I played when I started to enjoy myself. Maybe the game just isn't for you.
It's one of the best RPGs I've ever played, personally.

>Fav Vocation: Magick Archer
That dagger skill that lets you climb up to places where you shouldn't be is my jam.
>Beloved: Fucking duchess dumbshit
Didn't intend to. Still regret it. I plan to kill her ASAP next run. Fucking cunt. Hate how high her affinity gets from just doing her quests but not for any other characters.

>first time playing
>try hard mode as soon as I can access it
>Fighter with bitch mage pawn
>goblins and wolves nearly 1 shot me for a while
>everything's corpse shits out EXP and Gold like no tomorrow
>swap between Strider and Assassin
>never struggle on anything after the bandits near Gran Soren ever again
Bitterblack Isle better be as good as everyone hypes it to be, the rest of the game is a joke.

Shouldn't have played on hard mode.

desu hard mode isn't all that balanced. The difficulty curved goes downward real quick as yoour gear and exp makes you super strong as well as certain augments like Warrior's Bastion scaling for Hard Mode. Not a bad mode, but the early game brutality doesn't last long. Its even worse if yoou know what the Black Cat weapons do and rush Legion staff or Stamina Hammer on a pawn or assassin with Force Hatchet.
As for Bitterblack, its great. Loads of new bosses and a great atmosphere to boot makes it just a blast to run through. You'll enjoy it but make sure you have Magic and Physical damage.
I suggest you go Magick Archer, Warrior, or Mystic Knight as the magic hybrids have worse growths and Warrior isn't OP except as a stamina hammer pawn.

Hard mode is shit. No new enemy types or even new enemy spawns, just increased damage and increased stamina costs for everything you do, plus the additional gold and exp awarded for each kill means you'll level and gear up so quickly that you'll grow too strong for anything to ever be a threat past the very start.

Just a reminder that both Easy and Hard modes were free dlcs that came long after the game's release.

Why does she need that dagger?

Attached: Dragon's Dogma_ Dark Arisen_20190528154446.jpg (1920x1080, 336K)

Forgot I had it for PC and havent played it. Is there a way that I can use Ice magic whilest wielding a 2 handed sword or something via mods? Game is one of my favourites but there are some things I didnt like, like how armour is locked to certain classes, fucking hated that infact.

What if you had to choose your waifu but only non important npcs were allowed, who would you pick?
