This is probably the most common complaint I've seen. My friend I duo'd with early in the lifetime of the game eventually quit because he pretty much only mained McCree, and it became unplayably annoying for him.

They kept releasing characters without proper balancing, either a hero releases and gets a meta entirely centered around them or is so underwhelming they may as well have never been added.

Game was the most fun when you could hook+instakill people with Roadhog.

Because it never went anywhere. This game should have taken a page from mobile and churned out events and a plot that could give more life to the characters and the world. Not just capture the flag shit but real events like the archieves but longer. I'm sure Blizzard has the man power for it but instead they tried to focus on e-sports.

I'd be more annoyed if it was some trendy startup office space with lots of windows and floor space or something with a gym in the background.

Halo had player count numbers before 343 ruined the series, and the core trilogy has and still has a strong playerbase. CoD has player numbers, and seeing those are absolutely insane.

I still play and I can't give you a good reason why. Friends make it fun for sure but I spent time in the game alone too when nobody is around, but when going it solo I only play in small bursts. Also the girls are cute and fun to draw.

Your game was only fun for about a few months after release. all additions since then don't address the problems and others just introduce new problems that no one at Blizzard is competent enough to fix.

There was only so much staying power this thing could possibly have.

Think about it: Project Titan was going to be a true next-gen MMO. 7+ years of development, all flushed down the toilet because they "couldn't find the fun".

What we got (Overwatch) is like 1/10 of the original game concept of Titan. A leftover PVP mode, cobbled together with the scraps of the lore and character archetypes, wrapped in a TF2 clone package. Of course the game ran out of steam. It was meant to be part of a bigger package.

Project Titan failing really caught Blizzard with their pants around their ankles. I think they made Warlords of Draenor a half assed expansion with limited content and mobile app check ins on purpose, since they thought their player base would be too busy with Titan to give a shit what was happening too much in retail WoW. But oopsie, no new MMO, so the one MMO they did have had everyone pissed right the fuck off there was absolutely no content for.

The day Titan was cancelled and announced to be turning into Overwatch was the day I realized Blizzard was dead, and Nu-Blizzard was truly here.
