Lmao, RE4 has aged just as bad.

RE4 fits my subjective preferences better, startling the line between action and horror perfectly for me. RE2make is also great but it's for someone who wants different things than I do.

Both fantastic games though.

REmake2 isn't even better than the original RE2.
RE2 is THE cinematic game. the fixed camera angles are pure film-noir/french new wave in how they portray everything. these days, huge games and movies are all about not getting into actual cinematography -- it is about being zoomed in really close and shoving everything in your face at 100mph

One is a game that's been both celebrated and lives in infamy on it's own merits, the other piggybacks off the name and legacy of a previous game. RE4 is easily better because it is it's own being.

i mean, RE4 was like the first game that truly popularized the 3rd person over-the-shoulder view, and almost every 3rd person shooter copied it -- and for good reason, too

4 is longer, less repetitive and has more variety. I wish it had the controls of REmake 2 tho
