What's next for Samus Aran?
What's next for Samus Aran?
Metroid Dread is basically confirmed to be in development with Mercury Steam.
Remodelling her shithole
Halo crossover
>Metroid Dread
There will never be a Metroid Dread. There will be a Metroid 5, but it won't be that.
My penis wenis is next for Samus Aran :D
Some of the SA-X clones escaped and she has to go hunt them down
Who cares, the series peaked with Super. Literally too complicated for casuals
Until it gets a new title, I'm calling it Metroid Dread.
The X are too retardly powerful to be a recurring villain.
Metroid Dread (aka Metroid 5, Metroid Fusion's sequel, 2D Metroid game) for the Switch.
This
We're not getting a Metroid 5 announcement at e3 this year.
We're not.
definitely not.
don't give me hope.
Next year at best. Development would have only started extremely late 2017/early 2018.
I really want this, fuck you user because it will probably never happen
I believe we are.
Fuck you may be right, I really want a Metroid 5 and Halo Infinite gameplay trailer, if not, can they at least tease Metroid 5 with a logo?
Why was this series so badly managed?
So we got hits with 1, 2 and Super. Then they decide to just can the series for the N64 for some reason. Then it's back as an FPS which is a pretty good way to update it and the ball mode is absolutely like the other games. Then they bring back the 2D gameplay with Fusion but make it a lot easier. Then we get an easy remake of 1 with skimpy Samus mode and a sequel FPS game that wasn't as good as the first one. Still alright I guess
Then it just shits the bed. Pinball? Hunters which sucked. Corruption which felt like an afterthought and they printed no copies of the thing. Then it gets worse... Other M and Fed Force
And apparently they had Bandai doing Prime 4? What the fuck, fire everyone involved in these bad decisions
No need considering Sakamoto basically said it's in development already.
>What's next for Samus Aran?
Motherhood
IIRC, Sakamoto said they struggled to get internal teams to do Metroid and the one dev team willing to try to make a N64 one bailed on the grounds they couldn't come to Super in quality.
Do you believe they'll pull the curtains on Metroid 5 this year or next?
>Super Metroid is so powerful it occasionally rises up from the grave to kill lesser Metroid games
So this is the hidden cost of having a consistently high-quality game series huh?
Nintendo reveals their smaller projects close to release so next year at best.
futafucking other nintendo girls
Pinball was fine though. sure it wasn't a "traditional metroid" but unlike Fed Force it was still a good game regardless of the brand attached to it. Fed Force and Other M failed miserably because they were just bad games. You couldn't make a justification to make them look better.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Hope Sakamoto gives another hint this year at least. But what if Metroid 5 is early or mid-2020?
