I beat the Queen Knight after 2 tries, then struggled with the Fatties for a while cause Bloodborne made me forget that blocking is a viable option in other games, then I came up on those 2 and they folded like crepe paper, it was honestly quite a disappointment.

The big weapons stagger just fine if you know what you're doing. There are also passives and actives that increase staggering. I've spent my time making so that I have the fastest dodging possible with big weapons and I am surprised how nimble I can actually be, especially with something like prometheus on

What bothers me the most about the controls is that you can't continuously hold R2 while you're in an animation. You have to let go of R2, let the animation play out, and then hold R2 again to access your skills. I accidentally switched weapons instead of healing the ai retard more times than I can count

I’m really liking the improved dodge from the bayonet for asset, and I’m currently working on Sunset Sword +6 for improved dodge as Fighter. Is Sunset Sword worth it or is Zwei the way to go??

I’ve been grinding out medals by running Aset with 66 ichor and summoning to clear all 3 bosses with the mobs dead but I get the feeling it’s pissing off Aset summons because they’re stuck at 36 ichor unless they get backstabs on the bosses.

Sunset and queenslayer sword have way faster swing speed in exchange for less power, sunset's the weakest but lightest of the three so depending on your setup you can reach quick mobility with it

Queenslayer's probably the best of the three for general purpose, it can build ichor way fast with relatively little commitment or stamina usage

I found a decent spot to do it is the bonfire right before your first meet Louis. There's three squid things nearby, they're easy to kill, and their iron drop rate isn't any more awful than the things in the depths. You also don't have to dismantle any ambushes along the way.

It will change, sony forces all devs to have a pro version of titles released since like 2017. Whether it'll be good or not is hte question. A lot of games like sekiro just make the game have a higher res. Only nioh has really done it well by letting you choose fps priority or res/graphic priority.

Bandai shifted developers before development. Because of this change Marvelous had to aid the new developers for quite a while and this cut into Code Veins development. They claimed it had no effect on Code Vein, but judging by how it is after the delay I'm not so sure.

The one scene that had me suspect that GE was rushed was when Zeke talks about a pile of armlets we never see except in the opening.

the passive is imperative, as is using a weapon with good drain. I'm using a lost broadsword and that's one of the worst weapons for it. My level is like 80 though so that plays a part in it.

Make sure your shit is +6 too. +6 on your bloodveil will make your gifts jump from doing like 500 per cast to like 5000.

The issue is just the opposite, there's more people searching for people to help than people needing help. There's nothing wrong with the online, the issue is with how it serves helpers. It needs to be a queue type system or a random pool like in dark souls where you choose "okay i'm selecting to help someone. There's 80 people in front of me in the queue, i'll get picked after they do". Instead you can just mash it and get lucky or get unlucky.

If you just want marks, you get them if you have a summoned helper, so that's an easy way to do it.

outfits are your armor, which also significantly change your stats and your drain attack (which you use frequently to gain ichor), and in this beta there's only two bloodveils (armors) that have decent scaling. Those would be the assault armor and the queen thorn armor.

Louis is the best because he has the best dodging. Yakumo gives you that blood aura buff that protects you from a hit though so if you're using a zweihander or can't dodge or something, he's the way to go. But louis tends to keep me alive more.

aset and thoth are supposedly not "real" codes, or are at least not their real skill lists in the final game and just placeholders to condense a couple lategames skills into one class.
I also don't think most skills are going to be mastered by just killing mobs, look at louis' code to get a better idea of what some stuff might entail, killing higher tier bosses to unlock them to master.

They all have separate stats and so far every single one has had 1 uniqe move that only it can use.

There appear to be a lot of straight upgrades, even in the demo. Granted the movesets vary a bit between weapons within their own types, but the damage values on some things are vastly, vastly better.

In this demo, tradeoffs with mostly horizontal progression, but the tradeoffs are so minor that you're best off just using the lost weapons which tend to have the best damage. The only difference I've really noticed is drain damage being higher on sunset and queensguard stuff.

Nah there's actually a fair bit of variety as far as minmax goes, my only gripe so far is that it looks like there's gonna be no replayability because your character gonna end up being 'everything'.

You unlock stuff as you go and can cross-class a lot of stuff, there's no reason to do a 'new build', you just swap over equips and grind the right amount of currency and voila, you're the other build. Looks like there's only the possibility of maybe 3 'builds', too.

Nioh's a great time. The 'bad' things (enemy variety, some arguable map design issues, 'loot system' if you hate that, etc) are not nearly enough to detract from an otherwise stellar title. Nioh puts games like Lords of the Fallen, Surge, Code Vein to absolute shame.

People like to nitpick it and hate-bandwagon because it's fun, but ultimately Nioh is a really robust title that offers a lot of hours of fun. You'll be exhausted of it and sick of it by the time you finish the final difficulties NG+ cycles, though.

eh. It's a game that plays worse the higher in difficulty you go, but way of the samurai and strong (NG and NG+ essentially) were pretty fun
