Why does gw2 have so many korean mmo features? exp/loot boosters, cosmetic wings, skins, sparkles, auras, mobile bank stuff and whatnot. It's almost like it was made in korea.

Even on the highest settings, the design of the game and it's character customization options make it look shitty-skyim-mod tier bad. Garbage textures mixed with their weird "style" that makes all effects look like watercolour paint.

because they have no idea how to squeeze money out of whales who play their game and treat cosmetics as "content"

It's funny because in GW1 the cosmetics actually required you to do cool shit in order for you to obtain them most of the time. In GW2 the "best" cosmetics (the ones that make your character look like a fucking retarded Christmas tree) are all just obtained with gold and gold can be bought with real money.

It's why I just can't bring myself to play the game, everything is pointless because it's all just a big gold grind to pay for cosmetics that look like shit and have no prestige.

I'll be completely honest, WvW would have been the main reason for me to play GW 2 if Anet didn't kept royally fucking it up. It got to a point where it just trading server points and you get nothing out of it.

i honestly don't know how people don't have those already. you can mine them out of your home instance every day and they've been there for months, or years, and have no regular sink unless you just waste them on random garbage. not that i'm complaining, i sold about 5000 quartz during the price spike and still have over 100 charged ones that have no purpose
