witcher 3 gameplay and combat sucks and it has over 7h of cutscenes and shit talking its more like tv series than videogame, bloodborne has good gameplay and combat, it only has like 20min of cutscenes and every single one is more kino than all witchers combined.

Why are people so attracted to big open world RPGs? The Witcher was pretty underrated, but as soon as it went open world, everyone and their dog loves it.

As good a witcher is, the gameplay is super clunky and the whole minimap instead of overworld icons make it hard to go back, plus the vomit inducing witcher vision thing...

While I think the witcher is an exquisite game, i still value BB more for its originality, its replayability and its combat system/general gameplay. Im also a Lovecraftian fag so of course i enjpyed the latter more.
Dont get me wrong, i still enjoyed The Witcher quite a lot, huh.

Witcher was one of the best open-world adventure games in a generation of open-world adventure games. Bloodborne was a more polished, more focused smaller-scale experience. Bloodborne is in my top 5 of all time, while witcher 3 isn't even in my top 10, but witcher probably did deserve the award; it was a bigger technical accomplishment after all.

That said, the witcher fanbase is the most cultish, brain-dead, downright moronic cliques in gaming, as this thread alone provides ample proof.

Witcher 3 got a proper physical release on PC with the physical Complete Edition. It is one of the few games I have paid to play in years because it actually got a proper release on PC
