Vergil 3 and Gherman.

just made it to Isshin earlier today
I've only reached his second phase so far
it's going to be a hell of a ride, isn't it?

actually no, his third stage is easier than the second

his third phase is pretty easy if you got good RNG and he does his lightning attacks more frequently. for easy lightning reversal damage. When i fought him, he only did it once.

kill yourself Yea Forums nigger

I also just got to him. I can consistently get to phase 2, I hear you can lightning reversal his third phase
It's pretty fun but I have to take breaks in between to do something else, otherwise I'd just end up getting irritated

Gwyn, Lord of Cinder.

I''m the same way
I also find that I internalize the fights a bit when I take a step back for a while

Isshin>>>Gherman>Soul of Cinder>Allant>Gwyn

Arm strong

lightning reversal makes phase 3 pretty easy. If you can learn to deflect his long spear combos and bait out those mikiris, you should be good.

Gherman's good but Isshin better because you grow a more explicit connection with him

I can't say anything for Gherman and Allant, but

Gwyn >>>> Isshin >>>>>>>>>>> poo >>> Soul of Cinder

Gwyn was cool but a little disappointing. Music is great and its one of the few humanoid bosses that you can fight weapon to weapon. Only problem is you don't really have a connection to him and he is kind of a pushover because he is one of the few bosses you can parry

Gwyn has a mediocre moveset. Soul of Cinder has the same moveset but fixed and an extra phase.

any dmc final bosses

Bruh vergil 3 is great but seriously
>mundus
>argosax
>sanctus
are all pretty shit man, only 3 and 5 have good final bosses

Man I fucking love whe the final boss is "old man respects you and accepts defeat with grace and honor"

first time I ever fought, I was wondering how the fuck I'd get there when first phase jobichirou felt so difficult
by the time I beat the whole thing, I bet I could've done first phase with one hand

Orphan of Kos vs Gael vs Sword Saint go

in terms of being the best fights**

Isshin

This, a shame they pussied out and didn't show his decapitation instead of magical slash in the back that left no mark on the body. Still, GOAT boss from lore to gameplay.

It's the game's way of showing how much you've progressed as a player not counting the fact that they made his moveset easier.

>Only problem is you don't really have a connection to him
I don't really think that's important at all. Hell, Gwyn would be much worse off if the player character had personally met with him beforehand, the encounter with him relies on subverting your expectations of Gwyn as this mythical figure and of the quest you've been sent on. And honestly, I never felt much of a connection with Isshin as a character and the circumstances around the final boss fight is too awkward and contrived for me.
