Osu sucks lol

Show me a better rhythm that involves aim and has such rich music library as osu

EBA and classic Ouendan are better games, modern Osu is filled with either PP farm shit or stream garbage with very little inbetween

Love Live School Idol Festival

just play Cytus

>osu
Rhythm game thread?

Haven't played in 4 years did they update the scoring system?

There's score v2 but it barely works

Literally none of that shit has anything challenging. You need to actually git gud at either game to be able to judge anything, you retard.

Challenging=/=Good

You're not even good at rhythm games, why I act like you understand anything about their qualities? And can you even explain what you find better about EBA mechanically? I would really like to hear.

>that involves aim
Shit condition desu. Just play IIDX.

Not him but there are mechanical differences? I thought it was the same game gameplay wise.

It isn't. They are very different, if only for the way osu developed a charting meta, while EBA is just whatever. In osu they actually discovered that flow was a thing and that you could utilize it to make maps more fun.

>want to buy a dj dao real double edition with sanwa and omron options
>comes out almost $1k
>shipping is $278, ems only
>total comes to around $1,200

Build your own shit, nigger. Dj Dao charges more for Sanwas than they would actually cost if you bought them yourself. Ghettoing some shit isn't hard.

What's challenging about Osu other than the HP drain going from full to dead after one miss? What's well designed about a game that relies on combo over accuracy? Why wouldn't you play anything else if you want a good rhythm game that challenges more than your ability to flick a pen and mash two keys?

>Groove Coaster is STILL Round One exclusive
>you only get 2 songs per play, while in Japan it's 3 songs per play
>PC Port is absolute garbage and has barely any content compared to Mobile/Arcade
I will literally buy a whole fucking arcade cabinet for Groove Coaster if Round One would let me.

>that challenges more than your ability to flick a pen and mash two keys?
Reading and aiming is enough of a factor that you can't say that fewer inputs make it less challenging. Is DDR less of a rhythm game than Pop'n because it has fewer lanes? This makes the least sense of the shit you said.

I think this game unironically fucked up my wrists, fucking stay away

>aim
You mean timing? Literally anything else.

>and has such rich music library as osu
BMS, ITG, and anything you can just throw songs into like KSM along with other simulators. They do this while also not being spyware.

good luck trying to get it online and updated to 4ex

Sanwa's are a meme. Springs and switches matter a fuckton more.
t. Sanwa owner

this, the game made my gf unable to play any video games for like 2-3 months. this game will fuck up your hands/wrists/forearms

>spyware
Jesus fuck, after this many years, people will still continue with this bullshit. Really easy to spot a retard parroting crap he knows nothing about.
>KSM
KSM is fucking cancer. If you play an SDVX sim, at least use USC.

>my gf
FUCK OFF

not if you know what you're doing

Bad posture will fuck you up on any rhythm game, and that's your own fault.

>t. absolute shitter

For me, it's Etterna.

Why

>DDR with a keyboard
Why don't you stop being a child and learn playing BMS?

people playing this shit aren't any better than osu players

Attached: bdd.jpg (720x697, 38K)

>they still arent playing beat saber
yikes

>BMS Overjoys can wreck your ass at your own game
>you can't even read 8 lanes at all
Get a load of this big boy.

stay upset LMFAO!

DDR and Pop'n have quality control with their charts moreso than Osu. Honestly most fan charted games have the same problem but Osu is the only one where there's no official game to go back to other than the DS games when you get sick of mostly trash maps

Beat Saber is even more normie and casual than osu lmao

>talks about skill
>wont ever get close to my skill level at VSRGs

Attached: 1554858649274.jpg (500x625, 48K)

beat saber isn't a good rhythm game, it doesn't even have rhythm based scoring

USC still doesn't function properly with TC+ (unless the github notes are outdated) and lacks a chart editor. Despite there being so many players with an ASC, it's ridiculous that there still isn't a competent simulator for SDVX after all these years because one person made one (extremely shitty) sim and only one other person has the initiative to make an alternative. IIDX is in the same boat with LR2 being dogshit.

Performance alone makes USC a godsend compared to KSM. But yes, it is lacking, and I feel like it's mechanically different from proper SDVX (holds being more strict, lasers less so?). But there's actual development going for it, so it might still be different one day.

If you're actually wondering. if you're above average height compared to a japanese, it gets kinda stressful on your elbows to play difficult songs without somehow lowering your upper body imo.
