Some of the stuff the done in the remake is bizarre really. Like the realist fur on the characters, which looks weird on the characters because they’re supposed to be cartoony. Funnily enough because the switch version removed the fur because of console limitations it actually looks better.

I was honestly thinking of skipping CTR because good characters is what really makes arcade racing games for me and honest to god Crash's characters just suck. The only character that I've seen that didn't make me think "Wow, that's fucking awful" was Coco and I have some bias on account that I've seen quite a bit of pornograghpy of her at this point.
It wasn't until I've seen actual gameplay that I was convinced that the game might be worth getting.
