i hate the BR formula and they neutered the movement too much for me to enjoy
i want to hope that interest starts dropping off enough for them to actually start back up on titanfall 3 but not too much that they take the studio out back and shoot it

Fortnite set the standard for the BR genre with constant updates, changes and new skins on a steady schedule. New weekly content means streamers always have stuff to stream about and more eyes get on the game. Other games can get away with content drops every couple of months but not BR, the genre needs a steady stream of newbies to keep playing.

apex could have been an inferno that consumed the entire gaming world if the people making it used their brains. if I ever make an indie game that blows up that much the first thing I am going to do is scout talent to inject as much extra content into my game as possible so I can make even more money and get even more famous.

That was actually the plan from the start. The game was made in under 8 months when EA decided to surprise Respawn by telling them clean up whatever code they have on Titanfall 3 and repaint it. This game was never supposed to have longevity. They just needed to look honest enough to have the average person feel confident in putting $20 into it for a couple skins before they nuked the servers.

Br is overall kinda meh, but i really like the gun play and the time to kill + abilities. its not batshit random like titanfall with niggas flying everywehre and giant mechs randomly blowing you up

So long as the profits from this strategy keeps the Titanfall devs alive, I don't really see the issue. I just hope their next release gets as much marketing as Apex did.

As for the game itself, I play a few rounds every so often. It's by no means a bad game, and as far as battle royales go, it's the only one I play. I'm not spending a dime on it though, so I'm still saving up for Octane, or whatever hero comes after him if they interest me more.

I enjoy playing it from time to time but playing with randoms often ends with....
I enjoy the changes to gibralter and caustic but it needs more patching still and the movement system could be worked on a bit more such as boosting ledge speed to make it flow better.

I dont care , the real downside is how horrible those characters are i think only the shadow clone jutsu dude is the only character that looks reasonably good

The lack of any worthy sniping means is just unsatisfying. Spray & pray being the default goto makes the gunplay boring af.
