I don't play this game, right off the bat the setup is appealing but there are many issues. Namely
- The "war axe" is the only item present that is not an actual weapon, no-one wielded two-bited axes like that in battle
- The "maul" is clearly some kind of hammer or mallet
- "Poleaxe" is a very broad term, although this is not unforgiveable given the variety of the game
- Many weapons listed as "main arms" are very clearly sidearms
- There is a lack of fidelity in the "Main arm / Side arm" distinction, there is strong need for a "Mid arm" category to absorb swords and single-handed axes and maces. Warhammers should definitely not be "side arms" in a system where swords are "main arms".
Very interesting looking thing on the whole. Reminiscent of a CYOA I made some years back for teeg.

Those are scale adjustments to facilitate convenient, varied and fun gameplay. I'm not criticising any of the statistics for instance on the weapons and how they'd compare to their real life uses for example. Categorical distinctions by contrast do matter.
It's like a different in the rating of sweetness between strawberries and raspberries, the sort of thing where there's wiggle room for interpretation, versus describing raspberries as "orange-red" and strawberries as "pink-purple". That's a miscategorisation error, since neither label is accurate and furthermore rasps are clearly nearer pink than strawbs.

Whoever wrote this has absolutely no idea what they are talking about. Bastard sword is the best dueling weapon, greatsword is completely garbage, eveningstar is not good. Maul is a tier 2 weapon. I could 100-0 everyone in this thread with a maul.

I've been using the sledge since the game came out, shame that YouTube watching normalfaggots will catch on now.
Here is the easy tip for destroying sledge users - make them miss. You can just turn around and run away often because it is a very short weapon. It has the highest miss cost in the game by far. If they miss twice you will win the stamina war.

The post had nothing to do with the tier list itself. It was 100% to do with the names of weapons vis-a-vis accuracies, the plausibility of one ahistorical weapon and which weapons belonged in which in-game use category. Purely flavour questions and things concerning actual game rules, with 0% opinion.
