Nintendo is taking a very global approach with the Switch and getting rid of their anti-consumer practices like region lock and Japs getting the game first.

Durability won't have ant impact this is a FE game, they are poorly designed. Money won't be tight, again this is a FE game. Con is a terrible mechanic since that is what makes fast units stronger and slow units weaker due to a artificial number you can't dynamically raise, only in one game you can. Weight serves a actual purpose since it supposed to dictate stronger tier weapons and give them a penalty for using them

I'm assuming Sothis is the true goddess of the realm and Seiros is just her jealous little sister who imprisoned her so she could be goddess.

Hopefully that means more meaningful interactions between characters and more development instead of following the same 3 convo formula

There have been hints toward a time skip, but it's also possible there is time travel in general involved. Sothis has the ability to manipulate time, so she may be behind it.

Of course this doesn't really mean anything concrete for sure but it's fun to think about.

The only FE games that I've actually enjoyed the gameplay were FE7, Sacred Stones, PoR, and New Mystery. RD had shit unit availability and the maps took way too long. Conquest was alright but pair up kind of ruined it.

Games don't have good stories by and large, I can go and grab a book in my bookshelf at random and it is likely to have a better story than almost all games, and certainly than most good games.

6's story has the elements in it to make it great (Zephiel being a good villain for example) but the game itself is pretty barebones, almost like FE1. If they do an Echoes of 6, I'm sure they were flesh it out more and it'll be great.

Phoenix/Casual is a world of difference away from reloading upon death. When you reload upon death, you must eventually play the chapter adequately in order to proceed. There is very little difficulty in any FE when it comes to merely completing a chapter; the difficulty lies in completing a chapter with no casualties. With no permadeath, you never have to get better at the game in order to proceed.

For one, add a piercing type effect after Kamoshida. For example Shadow Sae would have been way more balanced if you couldn't just shut her down with physical blocks. As it ended up, you can equip a persona with Null Phys, toss on a regeneration accessory and press rush with no chance of dying until her desperation. That's boring shit. Also they should get a plethora of new skills, new gimmicks that actually add things and honesty several bosses throughout the game would just be better if they had higher attack power and better AI

Ultimately the simplification of the combat system in P5 and with how many Personas that you can fuse that break the game gave the game designers far fewer tools to craft interesting and challenging encounters, and it shows in the end product.
