We can all agree he's the best male character to come out of nu-Persona, right?
We can all agree he's the best male character to come out of nu-Persona, right?
Kinda but he's just there for most of the game
He's cute, and obviously super dedicated to his art, which is even cuter. I also think his interactions with Futaba are adorable.
I hated him at first but now I really love him. Would be a fun dude to chill with. Also he's turbogay. 10/10 buddy.
wrong.
All the Emperors are based but Yusuke is definitely the best.
Based bro
Proper way to put a gay dude in a game
Discount Jun.
>Yusuke's english VA also voiced Jotaro
>Madarame's english VA also voiced Kakyoin
Makes the whole Madarame Palace chapter much funnier knowing this
He wasn't gay though. Metrosexual at best, bi at worst (though I guess bi is still technically a fag). Half his story was about trying to get Ann naked for "art", and when he joins the party he still pines for her anus.
How can one man have such patrician taste?
He's not gay, fuck off
Why are 'real' Persona fans always in love with the effeminate metrosexual male characters?
What is it with gay looking dudes like him having deep ass voices?
Bros before hoes.
I love him.
wtf is effeminate about Yusuke?
Finally. Some proper representation for cocksuckers.
You mean the proper way to put an extremely autistic dude in a game.
All anime characters are autistic, they're always obsessed with one thing in particular and are either extremely shy or extremely loud
>tfw Yusuke's autistic cock will never slap you across the face
why even live?
He should get his own spin-off where he gets the Wild Card for some reason and has to put together his own party from people in his school
Any tips for getting into Persona? I love the other SMT games, and P2 was fun, but for some reason I can't get on board with 3 onwards and usually drop them 10-15 hours in. They just feel like shallow visual novels with shallower SMT combat. I'd love to get into them more, but not sure if it's a mindset thing or I should just move on.
He's fucking awful in the spinoffs so that really detracts from him.
Just keep playing SMT. Persona is for people who want less combat and more story, or want to pretend like they had friends in high school.
>They just feel like shallow visual novels with shallower SMT combat
That's because that's exactly what they are, but you play and get into them the same way as SMT. You turn it on and try to find enjoyment from maxing social links while doing the dungeons in as little time as possible.
That's not Minato
Where can you grind in Persona 5? You get decent XP from enemies in palaces, but their finite in number and you only have access to palaces for relatively short periods. Mementos seems like it should be for grinding, but the enemies were so low level compared to me even during late game and gave fuck all XP. I didn't need to grind as the game is easy as fuck, but it would have been nice to be able to grind to access the cool high level personas.
Fair enough. I enjoyed the dungeon crawling aspect (3 did it best out of 3/4/5 IMO), but I didn't get attached to any of the characters. Social links felt like a purely mechanical system to me, so I'd go spend time with whoever would benefit me most in the dungeons. Playing this way led to the school sections feeling like dragged out filler since there are rarely any important events or interesting interactions/choices to make, it's just a case of reading the fluff and waiting to get back to the meat of the game. I do love visual novels too, it's not that I hate reading, but they feel like slice of life games without the characters or atmosphere to back them up.
NG+ you retard
p5 is antigrind, you are supposed to play the actual "combat" part of the game as little as possible
you should do all palaces in the minimum number of days possible
you can do kamoshida's in 1 day + 1 for calling card
you can do kaneshiro's in 1 day + 1 for calling card
madarame's palace forces you to do it in 2 days + 1 for calling card because of the door you have to open in his house
you dont have to do mementos at all
You're supposed to farm jewel enemies or whatever the fuck their called. There was a way to get them to spawn easily but I forgot because I haven't touched Persona 5 since the month is came out after I beat it. Game has ZERO replayability, like almost all Personas.
Unless it was patched, you wait for a Flu Warning day (November and December has them). Then you go into Mementos, wait for Reaper to show up and engage. If it starts debuffed, you defend for three turns and it commits Sudoku for a retarded amount of EXP. If it's not debuffed, escape and re-engage.
>nu-Persona
What did he mean by this?
>Codename Fox
Why did the game even suggest Kitsune? It's the same thing just more japanese.
how to grind in persona
>get 3 charm before 6/25
>grind out hifumi until you get the move that lets everyone escape combat
>head into mementos during flu season or allergy season
>engage the reaper motherfucker
>if he has despair, keep up your guard until he dies
>if he doesn't, escape and re-engage
You get Hifumi to whenever she allows you to instant escape and farm Reaper in november. I think you can do it before then in New Game but it requires following a pretty tight schedule to get Hifumi to the rank needed before then.
He's not even the best male character in his game. Tora and Iwai are better.
And Kanji is still best boy.
Yeah, I'd say the majority, myself included, play the social links purely for the dungeon benefits. The reason why you can't just have the dungeon crawling in the modern Persona games is due to how very, very shallow the gameplay is. All of the games start to show their cracks if you start grinding or spending extended periods in the dungeons, that's why the social link filler is necessary to maintain the gameplay loop. Again, these games are mostly about the calendar crunch and splitting your attention between the gimmicks.
>no good tora
>I'd say the majority, myself included, play the social links purely for the dungeon benefits
Come on, user. No normie plays this game for the waifus. Just because the Fuuka poster is obsessed doesn't mean the rest of us are.
Dude's pretty great, wish he and Haru got more focus instead of it being the Futaba and Makoto show.
Social Link Ryuji > Yusuke > Main plot Ryuji
>No normie plays this game
no normalfag plays this game except as a forced ironic quirk to their personality
3, 4 and 5 only; not 1 and 2.
He not gay, he's eccentric!
