Is console gimped like that too? It's the same on smartphones, if I pay $1000 for a phone I expect it to be able to multi-task but YouTube pauses when the browser/tab is closed.

Honestly nothing they do could get me to buy this thing. The PS4 will be the last console i ever buy. Im tired of there never being any games. Ive always been a PC guy mostly but i liked consoles for fighters and similar games but now PC even does fighters better. Paying to play mutliplayer gamed is bullshit enough but the fact that digital games cost MORE than physical copies of games on PSN is just fucked.

Why would you need or want to pull up youtube while playing a game? If you want to look up a guide for something, it would probably be easier to just do it on your phone while playing the game

Because that's a YouTube feature. I work for a company and our partner's app was taken down because it basically bypassed this feature and let you browse YouTube somehow in the code while also browsing the app and Google took it down. If you buy YouTube plus/premium or whatever, you can get this feature. So it's not your hardware limiting this, its YouTube.

I think that's pretty fair. I'm not really as big of a Playstation fan as I was before. The PS1 and PS2 are my favorite consoles. 3 had some exclusive bangers but much less overall and 4 is kind of just a multiplat machine that's entire success was based on the competition being a hundred dollars more and needing to spy on you. The PS4 is such a massive success but it didn't really earn it in any way. Xbone just REALLY fucked up.
