We could be ten days away from the reveal of a new Legend of Zelda. What do you really want in it?

Lmao are there actually people who are believing this in any serious manner?
The Deltarune style of game release is catching on
I'd rather Nintendo didn't go the Sony route of "revealing" games five years in advance. Prime 4 is already pretty suspicious of it
I don't want to see a single shrine
After Link's Awakening I expect Oracles (if LA succeeds), and there I would pray for the abandoned third game, but I don't expect Nintendo to have the cleverness and understanding of Capcom's original strategy in Ages and Seasons to match up without again requesting their aid.
Yea Forums is retarded. Nintendo say smash dlc will be characters new to the serie like joker, they still believe we will get pokemon and fire emblem characters
Anyone who isn’t in the game is new to the series you fucking idiot
I'm not the one that said that, reggie did
why the fuck you bring up smashin?
i want them to ditch magic-tech and go back to pure fantasy
I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't miss them
>I don't want to see a single shrine
I hope Nintendo double down on them just to piss you off.
200 shrines, 8 big dungeons, a giant ocean in the right hand of the map so you can sail.
A FUCKING TOWN OR TWO
If they're going to go open world like Zelda 1 and WW, you can't be that boring. This is how even with bethesda being shitty developers, they know how to make the game good, they have so much useless shit to focus on.
More Zelda's butt.
Make it an archipelago so sailing is a viable option, like in Ass Creed Oddysey
>actual dungeons with unique bosses
>no more tech focus, go back to full-on fantasy including bringing back the magic meter
>a better Link design than what BOTW had
on that note
Zelda has always had its toe dipped in fantasy technology though. Originally, link was supposed to have a laser gun, but that became the sword beam you shoot at full health.
Dungeons. The best part of botw was the labrynth in the upper right corner of the map. I want it to feel like an adventure, not a stroll through a rolling countryside, add a lot of verticality and expand link's movedet accordingly.
Yes, can't wait to be shown a "preview" of the game three years early then show it later downgraded and not what we were promised!
Why would they show off a new zelda that would distract from the remake thing for links awakening
You know there were more labyrinths than that one labyrinth in the upper corner, right?
Yeah and they were all absolute bitch-mode in comparison.
I dont know, games like OoT and ALttP feel a lot more magical. Whereas in BotW almost everything feels somewhat mechanical.
I have no opinion on it, but why do you think it couldn't happen?
I want it to be the Majora's Mask to BOTW's Ocarina of Time
>Breath of the Wild but with more shit
God damn nothing would make me happier. After spending 4-6 years on the BotW engine, they'd be retarded not to make a Majora's Mask equivalent to BotW.
>Nintendo catching up on trends before they happen
He meant characters from series new to the Smash franchise. And Reggie did say that.
>Yea Forums actually pushed the Ashley and Shantae meme to the point where Reddit actually thought they had chances
>people actually chanting for Waluigi despite it being an Assist Trophy
Everyone is retarded.
BotW but set in the Great Sea and replace all the shrines with underwater caves I have to bathysphere down to with actual dungeon length.
Same engine, same assets, different land, out this year.
>After spending 4-6 years on the BotW engine, they'd be retarded not to make a Majora's Mask equivalent to BotW.
We've been talking about this for so long, and with any other company is wouldn't even be a question. With Nintendo I feel like if they do it at all they'll do it way too late.
Too late for what?
really disappointed this won't look nicer
Just wrap some toy blocks in cellophane and you've saved yourself some money.
Like it'll come out at the end of the Switch's lifespan instead of in a more timely manner.
>exp
>coming into contact with enemies teleports you to a sidescrolling level where you fight multiple of them
it'll be epic Yea Forumsros
I fucking love BotW and think it's one of my favorite games now, but it's actually really easy to make a better game. The basic framework they have right now is perfect, just add more stuff.
>More weapon types
>More enemy types
>More towns
>More/deeper NPC quests
>More large dungeons
Especially this last one. The divine beasts were fucking great, but there were only 4. Remember the Forgotten Temple at the end of that huge canyon that was just a bunch of Guardians with a Shrine? Imagine if that was an actual full-scale dungeon you just randomly came across. That's what I want. Maybe the entrance will need some sort of item to get inside, like say the hookshot. That way you can even bring back the typical Zelda items people were missing in BotW.
BotW is already two years old. If it's coming I guess the time is now.
>$60 and it doesn't even come with the Oracle games remade
>but look, we homogenized a bunch of the designs to be more "on-model" with the rest of the series!
dipshit company
Why are so many people upset about this?
Is it so important to have a tall anime boy as an MC or is it because the kids' toy aesthetic makes them feel like their game for children is too kiddy?
We MIGHT get a teaser. The devs said about a year ago that work ahd begun on the new Zelda. It's not unreasonable to hear some news specially if it uses the same engine and assets.
They got a lot of production values and quality of life areas that need to work on in the next game if they want to continue competing with other open world games.
> kids' toy aesthetic makes them feel like their game for children is too kiddy?
I just think it looks like shit.
The latter. The Chibi art style is exactly what LA was going for in the first place.
it reminds me of the backlash WW got back when it was revealed
I wish the remake actually looked like the chibi designs in the DX photographs than the diorama look they're going for, everything's too plastic
A completely new game since BotW already reused its own assets to hell, but we'll probably end up with nothing but LA gameplay. Maybe a title drop if you're really lucky.
What´s better, what they did with Prime 4 back in 2017, or nothing at all?
Nothing since Prime 4's development was fucked up and they've had to restart from scratch.
>tfw seeing that square labyrinth rise out of the sea for the first time
>jump off and glide towards it
>it just becomes bigger and bigger
I hope the next game has dungeons, as well as more colossal structures like that.
this 100 percent
also, a more classic dungeon-style game with increased difficulty. DARK SOULS : Zelda edition, no meme. Last few zelda games I've played were far too easy.
It's way more likely they'll announce it at TGA, E3 is already packed with games
It will be botw 2 now with sailing added
same engine, same assets same gameplay
I don't mind if they end up doing something like MM but with BotW now.
Add shit like caves and some more landmarks (like the Forgotten Temple in BotW) and it should be pretty good.
Lazy fucks
I want a mix between BOTW and Twilight princess.
