Emulation exists, and XCX runs pretty well on cemu, not sure what kind of pc you would need for it though.

Whatever they do I just want the world, scale and exploration to be on the same level of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was an enormous step back in that regard, it's quite astounding actually how much they regressed on that point.

Monolith said that numbered Xenoblade is a completely different series than Xenoblade X and its potential sequels, so it wasn't really a step backwards because they'r;e completely different series.
The main focus of X is supposed to be large open worlds with exploration, so I expect X2 to push the Switch hardware to its limitations like X1 did for the Wii U.

XCX music has a Stockholm syndrome effect. Nearly everyone hates it at first, but after about 50 hours the music suddenly clicks, and even songs like black tar become fantastic.
Uncontrollable and Manon Ship were good from the start though.

Considering X's lifehold system can only be accessed by Elma (implying it's deeper than just a manmade thing) and has similar functions Xenogears deus system and Xenoblade 2's trinity system, probably.
I'm expecting the Lifehold computer to be an artificial conduit, and the conduit after Xenoblade 2 fucked off to wherever the Samaarians are, since the Samaarians came from another plane (implying they can travel universes)
