Yorshka probably was another of Seath's experiments Gwyndolin found in the Duke's Archives after the player went through there. That or he might have raped Priscilla, being a stronger boss than her and probably knowing her abilities.

Enemies moved slower and had less resistances. Pyromancy was straight up broken because it was tied to the strength of your flame as opposed to INT and FAITH in the later games, which meant you could have a full-blown pyromancer for any build. Sorcery seems stronger in DS3 but I honestly only made a mage once so I may be wrong about that. Miracles fucking suck.

No it doesn't. If you initiate the boss fight, the plank will just be a normal death drop until the fight is over. It's either a pure gameplay mechanic or Priscilla actually does have some power over leaving the place. She was probably a really easy boss to defeat in case players got stuck too.

Probably not. Gwyndolin likely found Yorshka as an infant, hence why she was so absolutely moldable to what he said, even calling Gwyn her father. She has no experiences whatsoever with anyone other than Gwyndolin, and Gwyndolin appears to have still been such an utterly unhealthy social wreck that he could only raise her as a nigh-automaton parroting his credos to the point where, again, she says Gwyn is her father. It's thus doubtful he ever married Priscilla, or perhaps even raped her, as he's too much of a neurotic mess to ever bond with someone or venture out from hiding in any way. 3.Cut off Pricilla's Tail.
