You will essentially be playing solo forever. If you buy off of the GE, shop around intently, because the prices widely vary, even for different colored versions of the same item.

Quests > Skilling
Quests will unlock new areas/content or unlock new ways to make money/farm resources
Doing quests early can level up skills as well
Members > F2P
Members exp will always outperform F2P exp
The easiest combat stats to train in order are Ranged, Melee, Magic
Ranged can be trained different ways cheaply but the cost adds up over time, Melee is a one time large cost but most of the weapons wont break until higher tiers, Magic is the most costly but can be used outside of combat to travel and make money
If you don't want to spend money on membership go F2P and sell ores, fish, and logs on the Grand Exchange to buy a Bond for 14 days of Membership or train your combat and PK (Player Kill) other players for their loot and sell it

After you're many hours into the game, learn flipping on the Grand Exchange, basically buy items at low price, and sell them back when the prices fluctuates a little to gain a small profit

these profits are usually small just 0.5 to 2% of your investment, but if you're lucky you can make them multiple times a day and earn about 10-20% of your total money in a day
