Only real thing it adds is some collectables that aren't even that well hidden, or fun to collect since they dont do anything. Oh and the shitty voice lines nobody asked for.

This is the best remake of gen 1 Pokemon.
Leaf Green and Fire Red were ok but the Switch allows this game to excel beyond them.
I can take it where I want which with my lifestyle is needed and when I am home I can play on a massive TV.

But the GBA version of World made Luigi unique and let's you play as him whenever you want. It also came with that version of Mario Bros.
I'd say that's enough value to be worth playing.

It also made the game piss easy with heart vegetables every 5 seconds.

Beside the Dream team sprites artstyle, it's literally better than the original in every way. Difficulty, balance, quality of life features, additional content and so on.

Pic related is an 11/10 remake whose only flaw is being TOO faithful to the original. The gameplay is fucking unbearable at times as a result, but the presentation is by far the best in a FE game in years.
I can't believe IS decided to throw away all the good Echoes had going for it and went back to the shitty Awakening/Fates style.

I have not played the BiS remake, but idk how it could possibly improve. The graphics look worse, and remember the DS version is relatively recent and already had all the QoL features I could possibly have wanted from a remake. I just don't even know why the remake was made. They could have used the opportunity to make Partners in Time good instead.

BiS remake is garbage because they managed to fuck up and make the loading times 10x longer while also butchering the framerate from smooth 60fps to inconsistent 30fps.

I can. Echoes was just a filler title only made to complete the remade Archanea trilogy after Shadow Dragon and New Mystery.

Unpopular opinion: SoV gameplay isn't that bad, even if it is worse than the other fire emblem games.

What the fuck happened to the series after DT? They're nowhere near Paper Mario bad but its just so soulless now.

I was fine with most things, its just the lategame swamp and desert maps really. I dropped it really close to the end because of how tedious it got, I was at a swamp fortress map with a single entrance and a cantor that endlessly summons necrodragons so it takes fucking forever just to get someone close enough to take out any of the other enemies.

We haven't had a new M&L game with original characters ever since Dream team in fucking 2013.
