Turnabout Storm

Phoenix Drive

COOL BEANS

Turnabout Slam
Turnabout Holocaust
Turnabout Greentext

Turnaboot Eh

I played it ages ago, but I remember Turnabout Substitution being pretty fun

What's the best case maker out there?

Substitution creeps me out, despite being a great case.

That fucking music

>The sparkilin Ace Attorney maker site is dead

shame, being able to find a bunch of cases easy and making your own was a snap

fangames are, by definition, not worth playing.

I've always wanted to make one but I'm not a good artist and I refuse to release something with hideous art like the one you posted. Shit's impossible to look at.

I'd like to know this to, I'd especially like to know if there is one that has enough freedom to let me add new gameplay mechanics.

There's some good case makers that lets you just use existing character's and just change their name so you can focus more on the actual case

I'm in the same spot as you pal, I'm working on my art skills as I plan out the story for my fangame. It'll take a while but I'm excited.

Good luck bro.
Also bump for this, what case makers do you guys recommend checking out?

Ace Attorney 5 and 6 are basically fan games made by Capcom.
theyre not worth playing though

Man Takumifags are cringe

Has nothing to do with being a Takumifag, DGS sucked too and people shit on AA2 all the time

I agree, skip half the series. In fact, skip all of it. In FACT, skip video games altogether.

aaonline.fr is a decent one. It's online (so no need to have a program on your computer) and doesn't put a lot of focus on actual coding. Plus it comes with assets built into the editor. Only problem is that the website goes down sometimes half of the site is french and firefox is required for high-level case making. Community is fine though, and they have regular case competitions so there's regular content.
PyWright is the big one, pretty much all of the big fancases are on it. But, it requires actual coding skill and it doesn't come with assets. It's more flexible then aaonline.fr, though.
Some fag just released a new one called UCANT and it came with a decent case as a advertisement for the editor basically. It's more optimized than PyWright, but it focuses (or at least provides support) on HD sprites instead of the classic pixel sprites. Plus it's not officially released yet as far as I can tell.
It's mostly up to preference, though.

Which would probably be the best if you really want to add unique gameplay mechanics?

I'd go for PyWright. I've heard of people adding 3D object rotation, implementing perceive mechanics, etc. But honestly? If you're adding unique mechanics, you're either going to have to work around the editor or just code your own engine. Good luck though, I'm always looking forward to fan cases

Sounds good, thanks for the recommendation user. Most of my gameplay ideas involve additional court mechanics and changing up cross-examination a bit which is nothing too drastic in essence, so hopefully, it won't be too big of pain to work around.

If it's just cross examination stuff, then it shouldn't be too hard. Personally, I prefer working on aaonline.fr even though I'm too autistic to release a case simply because it has a lot of premade assets. Plus, I don't have to install shit or relearn python.

Contempt of Court is pretty good.

I didnt even know such thing existed.

what is the best version of the ace attorney trilogy?

3DS, probably
But the differences are extremely minimal
