I beat Irisu a couple weeks ago, but with so many items that it felt like she beat me in the end. That and some other things made me spiral into apathy, so I don't know when I'll come back to get destroyed by the DLC bosses.

Will it have multiplayer?

It's an open world game and your goal is to find every girl and beat her. Sometimes the game gives you tips (e.g. go to this area), but you can just keep exploring on your own. Every time you find like 4 new girls you can use the stele one more time and advance in the main story.

It does have bullet hell elements, but it's a medroidvania. Plays way different. It's done pretty well.

Same. I do have it on PC, though my PC is potato and I get slowdowns there during boss fights and certain areas.

Explore and recruit more town members. Game is not linear so you're kinda on your own save for a few hints the game gives. Once you recruit enough girls you can advance the story.

There's an alternative mode you can activate that scales bosses to story progression instead.

It is cute, funny depends on whether you like cute girls doing cute girl things or not.

Walljumping is pretty simple, though? Unless you're talking about the hidden walljump technique, and even then it's not that hard. I had way more trouble getting used to wallkicking in Bunny Must Die than walljumps in this.

Does the game at least have good difficulty? Lets be honest, so many games are called "metroid"vanias but have no actual difficult techniques to master. If I recall, Super Metroid required AT LEAST perfect wall jumping and being able to shinespark up and horizontally (maybe diagonally as well) to 100%. I won't include speedrun abilities because they are unintended, so how does it rank up to intended Super Metroid features?

What? No they don't. Keep in mind Erina's hitbox is much smaller than her sprite. It's around her neck where you can get hit, you can see the exact area at the start of fights or if you move while holding down the hammer button.

Well I personally played the game through normal first (and was getting pretty wrecked on my first play through regardless). I knew where to find items I found most useful for the higher difficulties. You can also access a lot of areas much earlier via shortcuts to get more stuff if you know where to go. Don't know if you want spoilers so being pretty vague.
