Firaxis fell into the whole "hold mechanics for an expansion pack" nonsense for CIV4 and CIV5 but by CIV6 they realized they should probably integrate some of those mechanics into the base game. CIV6 is thus the most fully-featured CIV game to be released in a longass while.

The Sims? Completely the opposite. Sims 4 didn't even fucking have pools or toddlers at the base release, which is absolutely insulting. How the fuck am I going to impregnate 3 year olds in the kiddie pool?

Koikatsu is a shittier AA2 gameplay-wise but has much better graphics than AA2 and has the best customiser out of the 4
