Games that you liked but never want to replay

the ending made me sad and i don't want to play emotional games anymore

just because of the final act

Probably the yakuza games

0 & kiwami.

Both great games. But they have no replay value. Then again, I can't think of any newish games that have any replay value.

Breath of the Wild

I guess the replayability is the substories you missed and maxing out your stats is worth running the game in the free roam mode after you beat the game. But other than that, not much.

>final act
?

smt strange journey. fuck the map system and the fusion system. im never going back.

Mario and Luigi:Dream Team
SMT:IV
Devil May Cry 1
Any Zelda game
I actually wanted to replay Persona 5 right after beating it but think I should hold out for the Royal and finish my backlog in the meantime.

when you get to alex's office and watch the video

Any long game that doesn't offer much playthrough variety, basically

It was fun the 1st time, dont see a need to play it again though

I often find myself unable to explain like I have to "justify it" why I wont replay a game.
With Deus Ex 1, I feel like I had a complete experience, knowing the consequences of certain things, getting at least most secrets, saving Paul and getting the ending I wanted.

I replayed Metal Gear Rising Revengeance but I did not with God of War, (although fuck that scripted sequence right before Monsoon), I enjoyed both and God of War had NG+ and incentives to replay it at harder difficulties as well and yet I did not.

huh, i've played through arkham city and arkham asylum like a ton of times. never replayed arkham knight though, it's way longer and the tank shit is so tedious

I replayed Persona 3 though, basically first play was going in blind, second playthrough is where I did everything by the book, which is kinda annoying I made a couple of mistakes and isolated myself from some social links, good thing it was links I had finished in the first playthrough.

Although, since I was emulating it I could fast forward.

Fucking DQ11. I loved it but I'm not touching ever again. I don't think I can do another 150 hour rpg

>Finally got it together and decided to do my second playthrough for all the Confidants I couldn’t finish and to go harem mode, use only the original 3, etc
>Got to the post-Futaba beach episode just as Royal was announced
>Lost all will to finish

Persona and smt games are just too long to replay Imo

I liked DQ11 AS I was playing it which counts for a lot I suppose but every time I look back on it I feel like I remember something that makes me not like it more and more. I think I may have just been hungry for a traditional JRPG at the time.

This too
Probably sunk 200 hours into dq7, never can even look at it again but I loved every minute

If that ending made you sad never ever play Persona 3.

Bulletstorm

persona 3
goddamn that final boss was tedious as hell to handle especially since you can't control your party
also fuck you mitsuru

>Persona 5 ending
>Sad
How? He didn’t go away forever (or effectively forever if you want to be pedantic) like a certain Persona protagonist, he’s a literal car drive away, and most of their communication was over text anyway. They didn’t even let the one major character death they teased be permanent, and even if it were he’s a garbage character that would’ve been better off dissipated anyway so it’s hardly tragic.

how the fuck did the ending make you sad? stay away from games like nier and shadow of colossus.

GTA 5. im just not feeling it.

I'm gonna replay it once the Switch version comes out, the formerly 3DS exclusive content looks really cool

same, the majority of the game felt like a slog to me i still like the game overall

>Any Zelda game
But I've replayed just about every Zelda game at least once. ALTTP and Ocarina at least 10 times. Games with good gameplay are easy to replay.
